High Sales Mentality - but willing to negotiate I went to the dealership to check out the Honda Graduate Program along with some CPO cars they had available. Already doing my research, I knew what e I went to the dealership to check out the Honda Graduate Program along with some CPO cars they had available. Already doing my research, I knew what exactly what I was looking for and wasted no time. Don greeted me and offered to help me after I asked for Heath, their sales manager. We took a 2016 Honda Civic (my eventual car) for a spin and I instantly fell in love. I started asking financing questions amongst other things when he got a call from his coworker saying his customers were asking for him again. This is the only part of the process I was slightly uneasy with. Because he had double dipped customers, he had to bounce back between me and the other customers and they were looking at a more expensive vehicle so he naturally prioritized them. Me being a college student, he probably assumed I didn't have the best credit. But after they left, he tended back to me and gave me a payout price on my old car with payments for the Civic. We negotiated for about an hour and they were able to take it down in my price range, with an awesome rate at 2.9%. their finance manager was easy to work with after the process and they got me out of there pretty quickly. Overall I am fairly satisfied with the experience considering I did not go there wanting to buy that day, but Don made it happen! More
