I just purchased a used 2007 Prius (3/2011)through Motorcars Honda/Toyota/Scion/Mahindra in Cleveland Heights. The original salesperson who "nabbed" me at the door in the Motorcar Toyota dealership didn't really have a very good knowledge of the hybrid vehicle lines. So after talking with a sales manager he referred me to Andrew Chiarelli at the Motorcars Honda located across the street from the toyota dealer. From there on out, I received excellent support and treatment. Andrew is clearly the local expert in hybrid systems for the dealership. Not only did he answer all my questions regarding the engineering aspects of the hybrid system, he provided me with many useful tips in driving a hybrid vehicle. He even explained about current modifications that can be made to hybrid vehicles to increase the battery capacity so that it can be an electric plugin vehicle that can run on just electric power at a maximum speed of 35 mpg for up to 30 or so miles. Of course with it being a hybrid, the gas engine still has the option of taking over. He also gave me very useful websites to refer to for hybrid support. I would highly recommend that if you are going to the Motorcars Honda/Toyota/Scion/Mahindra dealership that you seek out Andrew at the Honda dealership. No matter what brand of vehicle you're looking at, Andrew will not only be super helpful with the buying experience, but he'll can also give you more information than just in the sales literature. I took my car to Motorcars Honda for service because when I started the car, it sounded very loud as if I were giving it gas. Also, there was noise coming from under the car when I went over bumps. She explained the problem in great detail. It turned out the problem I had was the body shield and heatshield were loose. I was given a world class personal service the moment I spoke with Lawrence Morrison and Brian Zent Sales Manager, on the phone and when I first walked through the door.
