Jay is very personable which makes it easy to interact with him and constantly, keeps giving suggestions during our conversations which are extremely useful for a person like me who knows very little about cars. I wanted to get a bunch of accessories for my new Honda CR-V and had approached Jay regarding the nuances of each one of them. Believe it or not, he made an extraordinary effort in explaining the pros and cons of each and every accessory out there for the vehicle. On top of that, he took a great deal of time and effort to get the best prices possible for all the accessories and parts. I was more than just happy when I picked up my car from the service center every single time. In addition, Jay was also very prompt in keeping me updated about the progress and delivered more than I had even expected every single time. We love our new (used) CR-V!!! My fiance and i had been looking for a gently used CRV for over a month. Working with multiple dealerships, mainly in Toledo. We knew exactly the mo My fiance and i had been looking for a gently used CRV for over a month. Working with multiple dealerships, mainly in Toledo. We knew exactly the model trim/color we wanted. After 2 weeks of unsuccessful negotiations with our local dealership on a certified used 2015 EX-L with <15k miles, i found a nearly identical vehicle online at Motorcars Honda. I emailed an inquiry and within minutes had a call from John Hum. I could tell within minutes on the phone John was a straight shooter. Within moments of hanging up the phone, he had sent me an email with all the information i had requested about the vehicle. The next day my fiance and i made an offer. shortly there after John countered with their best price with a complete pricing breakdown in writing which was exactly where we had hoped to be, and beat our local dealership's "BEST PRICE" by more than $2k on the same vehicle. We drove to cleveland that evening to pick up our vehicle, and could not be more pleased with the experience we had working with John. The paperwork was all ready upon our arrival, as well as a couple accessories we had requested to purchase (all weather mats/roof racks). The whole process took about 30 min and we were on our way back to Toledo with our new car. Would gladly make the drive to work with this straight forward, no hassle dealership in the future. Another note: upon arriving home, we noticed the retractable cargo cover was missing from the trunk of the vehicle. I emailed john that night. The next day he called, and he immediately made it right. He found us the missing cargo cover and is dropping it in the mail. Talk about service... even AFTER the sale. Thanks, John! More
