I purchased a 2014 BMW 328i on the date of 09/02/2022. It was a horrible experience . 1. The salesman was OK, but had only 45 days on the job . Had no knowledge about the BMW or any car . Probably the dealership is not training the sales force . It is not his fault they sent him to sell cars without any training ! 2. The managers behave like the old " slick" car salesmen( translation : tricky , dishonest , lying by omission and by commission). I liked the car but ONLY after I told them I will take the car, they disclosed the car has only ONE key( how did they buy/ trade A CAR WITH ONLY ONE KEY?). BTW : I purchased an original key from BMW for $ 435! I think Honda of Cleveland Heights should reimburse me !) I HOPE HONDA CORPORATION READS THESE REVIEWS TOO! When I asked the manager how he is going to compensate me for one missing key, his answer was " I do not care about the missing key, don't buy the car! I do not care!". In fact he was very stern, not like someone who wants to score a sale !He figured I liked the car and I will not waste more time looking for another car . 3. I wasted a lot of time waiting for the sales steps to take place while the managers were laughing and making small talk . They do not care about their image . 4. The same with the missing key, the car had the " mobility kit" the missing( the compressor and the can of foam) as the car had no spare from the factory . They did not care about my safety! What if I had flat tire right out from the dealership? This was really wrong NOT TO CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER'S SAFETY . They could buy a mobility kit to equip the car! But NO! DO READ THIS HONDA. 5 . The manager told me " What do you want? It is a used car ! Will have missing things" . Before the sale , the car is " preowned " and is a "wonderful car" ; after the sale it becomes a " used car" and "what do you want from a used car? " . So the disparage their own cars after they were sold but not before . 6. The car had rubber mats( BMW original ) but the original carpets were missing . I will make big deal as the carpet is tan and probably they got dirty , I will buy them new from BMW . 7. This is a Honda dealer but they did not do any work to prepare the car for sale , absolutely nothing - not even washing the car! The work for the final cleaning before delivery was done by a outside shop next door . So, basically they take advantage of current market not to do their job. I understand the low inventory( gives the dealers the upper and) but the cars for sale needs to be prepare correctly. 8. I have the name of the manager and the salesman. They were not ethical with me but I am ethical with them and I not going to name them here .Of course , if the management of the dealership will be concerned about this perfectly TRUE situation ,I have their names . I am ready to bet they do not read these opinions/ratings ! I noticed from reading other reviews , the DEALER answers only to 5 star review but NOT to the 1 star ! WHY ? Soon , the market will come to NORMAL and the customer will have AGAIN the power to make the right deal . Below I see the pictures of the sales force and managers . The salesman and manager I worked with are not posted . I think this a place with high turn over of employees. Maybe there is reason for this . The website is forcing me to enter the name of an employee or will refuse the survey . I have no choice and I will post the name of the manager ( it is OK the website keeps the name confidential from the public but I guess is visible to HONDA) so my ethics are intact . 9. After driving the car every day I have to admit the car runs very good for the 60000 miles on the odometer . Here I need to mention that I know cars and I always buy BRAND NEW cars but this was for my son who is a beginner and none of my other cars are appropriate for a new driver .See below 2018 BMW X3 M40i 2019 VW GOLF R - 300 HP and 6 speed manual 2021 BMW M550i 10.I admit, it was a long review but I think public has to know ( I admit I did not read any review of this dealer before walking in- lesson learned! ) On a positive note the Internet and CARFAX are helping customers making better decisions but still BUYER BEWARE - at this dealer I looked at another BMW 2015 ; the car had an accident in CANADA ( was a Canadian car and was traded in the US ) and CARFAX stated : accident - repair over 2000 CND and nothing else ; so we did not know anything else . Was a no go! Happy car shopping! More

While the dealership was pleasant to deal with during the transaction when I purchased my vehicle from them, they have been absolutely horrible to deal with after the fact. I purchased a Honda Care warranty transaction when I purchased my vehicle from them, they have been absolutely horrible to deal with after the fact. I purchased a Honda Care warranty with Wheel and Tire service plan at the time of the purchase in Cleveland, OH with assurances that it will follow the car and be honored at every Honda dealership. We have since moved to Columbus, OH and had some issues with the local Honda service shop honoring the warranty. To that end, as I am having some wheel issues, I have requested documentation on what is included in the warranty I purchased so I can show the new dealership what is included. I have been on the phone and communcating through emails with multiple people and can't get any answer on what is supposed to be included. I have been working on this for nearly a month now to just get a listing of what is included in my warranty. The bigger concern I have is that I called the third party that services the warranty claims that is on the original contract (though it doesn't list what is covered) and when I provide my name and VIN number, they have indicated they do not have a warranty contract on file and that I need to contact the original dealership. When calling the dealership - no one knows what to do and keeps pointing me to other people. I definitely DO NOT recommend purchasing any additional warranties from this dealership. It was one of the worst decisions I've made and will make me rethink purchasing Hondas in the future as it seems there is no centralized system or just very poor training. More
This was probably one of the worst experiences I have EVER had when trying to buy a used car. Specifically, with dealing with the used car sales manager, Michael Stoughton. He was smug, cocky, un-willing EVER had when trying to buy a used car. Specifically, with dealing with the used car sales manager, Michael Stoughton. He was smug, cocky, un-willing to truly work with me, and treated me like I was trash. He could care less that I wanted to buy a car from that dealership. I have NEVER been treated or disrespected like that as a CUSTOMER willing to spend thousands of dollars. I was looking to buy a used 2019 Honda Passport and he made it so very difficult for me. I was so done with his attitude. I do have to say that your “policy” that a car has to be paid in full for it to be “SOLD” is asinine. I was willing to put thousands of dollars down to hold the car for a day or two while my financing went through. That policy needs to be revisited and revised. Now, here’s the good part of my review…..Roman….. you are AMAZING. You treated me as a customer should be treated, with kindness, respect, and an eager willingness to work with me. I appreciate your help and kindness, you made this experience better. Mona, you aren’t even a car saleswoman and YOU did more for me than Michael did. I wish you could get that commission from my sale. You checked on me, most importantly…..you advocated for me and you went above and beyond for me. You are so appreciated, you will never know. You and Roman fixed some of the damage other people created, for that I am so grateful. Finally, I LOVE my Passport. Honda sure knows how to knock one out of the park. It’s so comfortable and clean!!!! More

👉On 5/5/22 @ approx. 4:15pm, I visited Cleveland Heights Honda. NOT ONE salesperson acknowledged me.🤚 I literally walked from the front to the back of the store without 4:15pm, I visited Cleveland Heights Honda. NOT ONE salesperson acknowledged me.🤚 I literally walked from the front to the back of the store without so much as a "May I help you OR Good afternoon." CHECK YOUR IN-STORE CAMERAS FOR PROOF!!! ☝️Meanwhile, several employees chatted away at the service desk (about 4), laughing outloud and other reps were fixated at their computer screens with NO customer @ their desks; nor were they on the phone. 🚫 It was a very DISENGAGING atmosphere. They let a $30,000 pre-approved buyer WITH an additional $10k on me WALK RIGHT OUT THE STORE. 🗣🗣I drove to Reineke Honda in Findlay OH, and purchased a 22 HRV Sport where the staff was happy to earn my business!! IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE!! 👍They were friendly, inviting, got a GREAT DEAL with NO DEALER MARKUPS. 👋Moral of the story: My money is green and works everywhere. I shop where I am respected and appreciated. More

I had a 1PM appointment and was promptly introduced to Elijah McDougall a sale associate. He was very courteous, polite and informative. He asked what I was looking for and I shared my need for a used vehicle with a third row to accommodate my grandchildren and parishioners that I pick up for church services weekly. He showed my cars that met my needs, and I chose on that I felt would fit the bill. The car buying process is a timely one, however, during the time that it took to do all the necessary paperwork, detailing, etc., Elijah continued to make sure that I was comfortable and that any need that I might have that he could accommodate was met. I am driving my new car and I am quite happy with it. More importantly, the overall car buying experience at Honda Cleveland Heights. I would recommend this dealership and Elijah McDougall to my friends and family. Elijah is an exceptional young man. He is professional, approachable and quite courteous. More
