In fact, I was dreading taking on this unexpected “chore” as most of my previous car-buying experiences had felt similar to getting a root canal. Honda of Chantilly and sales consultant Zak Rhodes changed that perception, however. Right from the beginning, I could tell things were going to be different. Friendly but not overbearing, Zak first listened to my story and paid attention to my needs/wants without once launching into an overzealous sales pitch. The test drive was informative and surprisingly fun, and I left the dealership with the CRV high on my list of possibilities and without feeling like I had been beaten into submission. While I took a little time to consider other options, Zak let me know he was available to answer any questions I might have or take me on another test drive, but I welcomed the fact that he did not bombard me with a stream of phone calls or texts. It was that respectful approach as much as the quality of the car that solidified my decision to go with a Honda. Zak was helping another customer when I returned to negotiate a deal a few days later, but instead of being left to wait until he was free, I was quickly introduced to his capable associate Amanda Simpson. She appreciated that I did not want to hang around the dealership all day and was very instrumental in making things happen. First Honda Honda of Chantilly had a first timer with me and I can’t believe it took me this long to realize how great of a car line they have. It was all because Honda of Chantilly had a first timer with me and I can’t believe it took me this long to realize how great of a car line they have. It was all because of Zak Rhodes that I drove in with a 2009 Malibu and home with a 2017 Civic in less than 3 hours. I wanted to write Zak a review as a dealer but unfortunately this high quality asset has yet to be loaded into your employee database on the site. Zak was punctual, intelligent, articulate, professional and personable. I had a lot to learn when I decided to replace my 2009 Honda CR-V -- the technology is SO different. Teddy and Zak brought me up to date on the CR-V. They were pleasant and knowledgeable. Teddy showed me how certain features worked while I drove and Zak explained helped to setup the new features when I picked up the car. I am confident that we worked out a decent price. When the color combination I wanted wasn't in stock, he reserved one that was on its way to Chantilly so that I would have it within days. When the car was delayed being delivered, he was very communicative. They even offered me a temporary car to drive while I waited on mine. I’m excited to experience their service department that is available 7 days a week with no appointment necessary. I'm going back to Honda of Chantilly because of the wonderful experience all around! Justin answered every question I thew at him over the course of many days until I was sure what car I wanted to buy. At that point Justin also assured me that he could beat any competitior's price, and he was right. He then made sure that everything about the car was ready to go when my wife and I arrived to pick it up; and he patiently walked through many of the features that needed to be configured (given all the complex software setting options that cars come with these days).
