Such a wonderful, positive and seamless transaction! I've never bought a new car and was certain that car salesmen were creeps and dealerships, crooks. I did extensive research on the vehicle I wanted and had a $$ that I wanted to pay, but over the course of a year discovered that what I wanted wasn't available (aka "The Unicorn"). To my surprise, I found a dealership offering exactly what I wanted, but it was in another state (Georgia) - it was the EXACT model, color and interior, AND within 1,500.00 of my goal price. However, I really did not want to travel across the country to buy The Unicorn, so I reached out to multiple local dealerships with the Georgia deal in hand, to find out who wanted my business, but to my dismay, nobody did - the deal was too good. Finally, Pete from NW Honda contacted me and I told him about the Georgia deal - almost bragging and expecting him to blow me off like all the others, but he didn't; instead, he asked if he could try to earn my business. Pete and I then swapped numerous emails which included the details of the "Georgia deal"; in turn, he worked diligently with his management team to get as close to the deal as he could and within 24 hours, emailed me his "out the door" price. After all was said and done, he was within a $1,000.00 of the Georgia deal so I accepted his offer and put a deposit down. The vehicle arrived at the dealership on time and the appointment to finalize everything was made with my convenience the priority. On the day of the appointment, Pete greeted me at the door and for the ENTIRE process, was a gentleman, kind, thoughtful, informative and a wonderful teacher (I had to learn all the tricks on this vehicle). He gave me a tour of the entire facility, never lost his patience with me, never tried to "hard sell" me anything, did everything at my pace and while we waited for financing, swapped kid stories with me, all of which finally tipped the trust scales and endeared him to me. Although this process didn't create a blanket of trust for all car salesmen and dealerships, it did create a trust for Pete Davis and NW Honda. The thing is, Pete TRIED to earn my business, those other guys just heard the Georgia deal, guffawed and didn't even try. Pete was honest from the beginning and took the time to understand all the intricacies of that deal before he decided he couldn't do it. He helped me understand the extra fee's that would be in addition to the base price (which the Georgia dealership confirmed) and in the end, gave me a fair deal for The Unicorn. If I ever need to buy another Honda or have a friend or family member interested, I have Pete's info saved and won't hesitate a second to contact him. More

Integrity, Service and Delivered "As Promised" I had been searching for a particular truck throughout the Pacific Northwest for several months using various online resources for my search. After a couple of failed purchases from 2 different Oregon Toyota dealers - Lithia Toyota and Grants Pass Toyota in Oregon, I found a used Toyota truck with the desired features at Northwest Honda. If you have ever bought a car via the internet, you may know there are a lot of games played and often cars sold on the internet are not as represented. Pete Davis (Salesman) was extremely helpful in sending me additional photos and information to assist me in the decision making process to purchase the truck. He was very responsive to my phone calls, emails and various questions. I flew from Southern Oregon to Bellingham, WA to purchase the truck at Northwest Honda. At the time, I was wondering if I should have purchased a round trip ticket in case the truck wasn't as advertised. The condition of the truck was exactly as Pete had described to me via telephone. I also had discussions with Camille Kim regarding potential financing options. She was very professional and provided me with tips regarding purchasing a car in Washington, then registering and titling in Oregon, which saved me a lot potential headaches. I worked with Sam Baylasy to complete the transaction. She was great to work with and made the transaction process seamless. No hidden fees, no add-on charges, the transaction occurred as originally agreed. Today, I received a phone call from Pete just checking-in to see if I made it back to Southern Oregon and how things were with my new truck purchase. Great follow-up and service on his part. All in all, a stellar example of how the car buying experience should go! More

This time speaking with a different salesman (who was great) but couldn’t find any of my information in the system from my previous visit. Overall experience was pleasant, especially with the new salesman listening to my needs with a vehicle and providing amazing customer service. I would certainly recommend Northwest Honda. More

He was very polite in letting us know that if we had any questions. He would be more than happy to answer them for us. Just in how he was not overbearing spoke volumes. Long story short. My inlaws purchased the new accord and my wife and I purchased an HR-V. Through the whole process Patrick gave us top notch customer service. Joel the sales manager really did a great job of making the process run smoothly from his end. They will for sure be getting my business in the future. More
Nice salesmen. Messed up financing. I took 10 minutes to pick out a vehicle but ended up waiting 2 hours for finance to figure things out. After the 2 hours, I was told my wife had to be on the loan which is fine. Went into the financing office and after all that I was told my wife DID NOT need to be on the loan. Signed everything and was on my way. Got a call 2 weeks later saying there was a problem with the financing and I had to go back again with my wife and sign. Either WECU or Honda screwed up. Still a mystery to me. Signed all their paperwork and was told that I have to come back yet AGAIN and pick up a second set of plates and new registration. This is unacceptable to me. Wasn’t even offered anything as compensation or an apology for wasting my time. It is clear that in this particular case my time was not valued and that isn’t a good feeling. Will do business with Sims Honda in the future Instead. More
