Loved car shopping with Ashley My sister and I went to Northwest Honda on a Monday afternoon without making an appointment. She'd purchased a Honda recently and really liked the ex My sister and I went to Northwest Honda on a Monday afternoon without making an appointment. She'd purchased a Honda recently and really liked the experience but I wasn't sure I could afford a Honda that met my limited budget and desire to have really low miles since I'll drive this vehicle for five years then hope to give it to my child when he is sixteen. We stepped out of our car and had only turned towards the cars when Ashley greeted us. She asked some clarifying questions about what we were looking for including my price range, used/new, mileage , and makes/models I might want to focus on. She pointed us towards cars that met our criteria and excuse herself to grab keys of some vehicles she thought would work for me. She was back before we'd gotten far and she had five or six keys in her hand. She had clearly listened to my needs and was able to immediately lead us to her first option. On one vehicle the interior had red stripes in the fabric and I had barely made a face when she said "is it the fabric? do you want to move on?". She was very good at watching my responses and she clearly had no agenda for which car I might be drawn to but she answered questions quickly and confidently and it was clear she knew her product. Unfortunately the Honda Civics were the vehicles that had the right price at the right mileage but truthfully I just didn't like how low they seem to sit to the ground. She talked about that challenge for me and then moved us off to look at Accords. In order to afford the accord I was looking at vehicles with higher mileage than I had initially wanted but she reassured me about the value of Honda and she even drove Honda's herself. Ultimately I decided to look at other options and she was very professional regarding this; she didn't try to talk me out of this or use pushy tactics to keep me at her lot. I was thinking of looking at two other dealerships and she encouraged me to look at other options and offered the model of vehicle that would be equivalent to the cars she had been showing me Ultimately I did purchase from another dealership to get the low mileage at the price range I needed but honestly I would've loved to purchase a vehicle from Ashley and I will recommend her and Honda to anyone looking for a great vehicle and knowledgeable staff. If I hadn't been set on purchasing that week I feel certain that she would've continued to let me know as vehicles arrived on her lot that would meet my needs until the right fit was found. More
