Honda of Ames is Fabulous Our 2011 Honda Fit (wonderful car) is on the airbag recall list. Not because 2011 Fits have specifically had any issues, but just as a precaution. Honda of Ames is giving us a loaner until the parts are available. We call that service above and beyond. We will use Honda of Ames for our servicing and purchasing from now on. More

Problem with air conditioner. Previously had all new tires. They were very helpful. Gave me an up front idea on cost of tires and ac check. Cost is important as I am on a fixed income. Great Service Even though I didn't buy my Honda from this dealership I am treated with the same respect and service as if I had. If you make an appointment your work is done promptly (I am referring to typical servicing as I have not had to have any major repairs). The entire staff from the office to the mechanics (I'm sure they aren't called 'mechanics' now--perhaps 'computer assisted technicians') are always friendly. I highly recommend Honda of Ames. More

Excellent!! We were driving home on Interstate 35 when we started to have car problems. We were still an hour and a half from home, but needed to leave our car in We were driving home on Interstate 35 when we started to have car problems. We were still an hour and a half from home, but needed to leave our car in Ames. We left our car at the Honda dealership and put our key in the drop box. I called first thing Monday morning. I explained the problem we were having to Max and he was wonderful in explaining that Hondas were known to have this problem. He explained that if it were spark plugs or a piston ring problem, Honda warranty would cover the repair. We also needed an oil change (covered with the piston ring, not covered with the spark plugs) and some preventative maintenance. He explained all the charges. Thank you for your friendliness and your ability to explain everything!! You are AMAZING!!!! Thank you so much!!!! More
