The worst auto buying experience ever. Sales person only cared about his surveys and commission. I was deceived and lied to about options being on the truck when I bought it. The day I picked it my truck the, options are missing. I was told later in the week my remote start and cover would be in. Keep in mind this is over a week after I agreed on the purchase. My sales person Dan did not call me, I had to call him the following week. Oh it should bee in the next day or so. Three days later I had to call again and still nothing. Finally after calling multiple times and emailing the gm I get a message he would looking into it. I was told it would be three more weeks before we could get this done by someone on the Honda side. I bought a Nissan and no one there could follow through to get my parts installed. Again, I said multiple times this was a deal breaker and I would not have purchased the truck without them. The sales man Dan made sure I knew he would not get his commission without a good review. Well gee Dan then don't promise me you will do something and then not follow through getting them on the truck before I buy it or have a clue when you will get it done. Communication should not only come when I call you. Almost a month later no cover or remote start still and I am requesting a refund. The GM said this would happen but I don't believe him has he would only call me when my husband called him. Seriously! this is my 11th Nissan and I have never been treated like this. Does the GM and sales staff only think men have a brain? In this day and age, women make more money and financial decisions then men do. I will NEVER buy from this dealership again and have a bad taste about Nissan now that I may not overcome. Do NOT promise something just to get the sale. Follow through with your actions and deliver! I am pissed I paid cash and do not have what I bought and probably will never get my refund. This dealership either has a GM that is not on top of what his employees or doing or does not care about return customers. Oh and I am still waiting for the quote on my husbands running boards Dan promised he would get on his Titan. Need less to say I am getting them from a different dealership More

We obtained an oil change and wheel rotation. Our scheduled time was 2:30 and they got us right in. Honda of Ames is the absolute best to deal with, whether it’s buying a car or having one serviced. On the sales side, Our salesman. Jerry Hebrink, was very friendly, comprehensive, helpful and was genuinel it’s buying a car or having one serviced. On the sales side, Our salesman. Jerry Hebrink, was very friendly, comprehensive, helpful and was genuinely concerned that we were selecting the car that would best fit our needs. Buying a vehicle can be very stressful. But not here. We had a figure in mind as to how much we could spend. Jerry did his magic and made it work! And when it came time to drive our new car home, he thoroughly went through the operation of all its bells and whistle and told us to call if we had questions . For the next week or so, we did! And he answered them all. On the business side, Eric explained all the warranty and service options available. No pressure to add any. He just wanted to let us know and answered all our questions. He also thoroughly went over all the financing options. We added a couple options to the car that had to be ordered in. The service department got everything in within a few days and then patiently worked around our crazy schedule to get the car in. So easy to deal with. It’s service the way it should be but hard to find in many dealerships. All in all, Honda of Ames is the gold standard of car dealerships as far as we’re concerned. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. The next time we’re in the market for a new car, we’ll be here. More
