My 2021 Honda hr-v needs a new transmission at 94,000 miles. This Honda dealership sold me a defective transmission. Honda had a massive recall on the 2016-2020 hr-v on the transmissions for this exact s miles. This Honda dealership sold me a defective transmission. Honda had a massive recall on the 2016-2020 hr-v on the transmissions for this exact same problem(software does not properly monitor internal fluid pressure and detect early CVT belt failure)(The warranty covers the 2016-2020 up to 150,000 miles for the transmission because of this issue. I have a 2021 with the exact same issue and they won’t cover it for me. The way Honda fixed the issue is by changing the warranty to 60,000 miles on the 2021. They did this because they know they are going to fail. What a scam. They wanted me to pay $8,100 for a replacement. They agree on coming down to $5,100 on a used transmission replacement. This is a big rip off. I sent them all the paper work showing we have kept up with the vehicle. We have done all the proper maintenance necessary. Honda made me send all the oil changes and transmission fluid changes. Then they still wouldn’t do anything. I’ve owed 3 Hondas and all of them drove over 200,000 miles with no transmission issues. I wish Honda would step up and do something about this. Don’t buy from this dealership. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car. I’m never buying from Honda again. These CVT transmissions are junk and Honda knows it. More

James, the service manager at Westborough Honda, Herb Chambers is phenomenal. He took a stress that would’ve cost me and renting a car and gave me a loaner from Honda took care of my entire car that need Chambers is phenomenal.
