My car has been sitting there for three weeks with minimal communication and unresponsiveness to my concerns. I initially brought my car in because I've had to replace my battery three times since January. Despite repeatedly explaining that something was draining my battery, they refused to listen or investigate my claims. Kevin and his team quoted me $299.95 for an AC evac and recharge with diagnosis, but suddenly jacked up the price to $511 without providing an itemized statement. They also wouldn't work with my extended warranty, making the situation even more frustrating. After weeks of insisting that there was a deeper issue causing my battery problems, they finally discovered that the keyless entry door handles on my Honda Civic were causing a parasitic drain. Now, they want to charge me an outrageous $1800 to replace the door handles and still refuse to cooperate with my extended warranty. To make matters worse, their computers were hacked nationwide at the beginning of June, further complicating the already frustrating situation. Do NOT use this Honda service location. They are unresponsive, overcharge, and will leave you with more problems than you started with. Save yourself the trouble and find a reputable service center elsewhere. I truly wish they have an option for negative stars. More

However, I ended up waiting for over two hours just for them to replace the battery. To make matters worse, despite being under warranty, they refused to honor it for the battery replacement and charged me a whopping $400. When I mentioned local dealership coupons that could have saved me money, they outright refused to match them. This has been my worst dealership experience in twenty years of owning Honda cars. The service was slow, the costs were exorbitant, and the customer service was incredibly disappointing. I will not be returning to this dealership and would advise others to look elsewhere for their Honda service needs. More

Realizing this pouch was for the wheel lock key, which I kept in the glove box, I picked it up and saw the key was missing. I was the last customer out at 4pm closing time, so I had to wait until Mon Oct 30 to call. I left a message for the assistant manager Chris to call but he did not. I called again on Tues Oct 31 and was directed to the manager Zachary. I left voice mail messages on both Tues Oct 31 and Wed Nov 1 for Zachary, still no call back. I have been going to this location for years but this experience overall was unsatisfactory, beginning with my 30min wait in the car in the garage prior to servicing all the way to checkout. I felt everyone was in a rush to leave and customer service was their last priority. Watch your valuables. I will be going elsewhere for service. More
-Poor customer service -faulty repairs I made an appointment for an oil change because I wanted a quick oil change to go on a trip out of town. When I arrived to the service appointment area I waite appointment for an oil change because I wanted a quick oil change to go on a trip out of town. When I arrived to the service appointment area I waited at my car for 5 minutes to see if someone would come check me in. No one did. I walked inside leaving my car there. No one inside greeted me. They saw me but did not day anything. Finally someone went to the car so I had to go back outside. They reccomended I get new windshield wipers and clean some residue off the battery. Okay. I left and returned a couple hours later. Went to the service office again, and waited, again. No one acknowledged me. I waited until a couple other people were helped and someone helped me with pickup. I paid for the service and left. The car seemed to be running okay for a day until I left for my trip. On the freeway I heard a noise. The oil shield panel on the bottom of the car was not fastened correctly. I was not able to go on my trip and took it to a different mechanic because the customer service was so terrible at Honda west. The new mechanic said there were clips missing for the shield and it wasn't fastened properly. The way honda west left it was not safe to drive on the freeway. I won't be going to Honda West any time in the future and will not reccomend them to anyone. More
Dear Mr. Goardon Shek, I am writing you on behalf of Erwin Nicholas and Tiahna Divina, who are customers of your establishment, Honda West of Las Vegas. I Goardon Shek, I am writing you on behalf of Erwin Nicholas and Tiahna Divina, who are customers of your establishment, Honda West of Las Vegas. I write to express severe dissatisfaction with the prolonged repair process of their 2023 Honda Civic, which they brought in for service on August 15th. They also purchased the vehicle from your dealership. As of today, the vehicle has been in your possession for 69 days. This delay has not only severely inconvenienced Erwin and Tiahna but has also resulted in financial burdens that are unacceptable and require immediate rectification. Part of this delay was admitted by Honda West (after saying the vehicle was ready) was the ordering of the wrong parts which has apparently extended the time frame of the repair beyond the time which Erwin and Tiahna's insurance will cover the cost of a rental vehicle, placing this liability directly onto Honda West. The extended period of repair has exceeded the rental vehicle coverage provided by Erwin and Tiahna's insurance. Consequently, they now bear the cost of a rental vehicle out of their own pockets. This situation is unacceptable and contravenes the expectations of timely service that any customer would reasonably have. Both parties have placed countless calls for status updates, as well as the insurance adjuster, which have gone fully unanswered and shows both apathy and poor customer service on the part of Honda West to resolve this matter. There is also the issue that the inspection performed by your service center was apparently negligent in determining the damage to the vehicle as Honda West is now claiming that a new sway bar is required - which was not detailed on the original insurance claim. NRS 104.2204 - Good Faith Requirement: This statute mandates that every contract or duty within the Uniform Commercial Code imposes an obligation of good faith in its performance and enforcement. The prolonged repair period and subsequent financial burden on Erwin and Tiahna could be interpreted as a breach of good faith, and subject Honda West to legal consequences. Under NRS 487.038, a garage is obligated to provide a written estimate for repair and must not exceed that estimate by more than 10% unless consent is obtained from the vehicle owner. The penalty for violation of NRS 487.038 in the State of Nevada involves a misdemeanor charge. Under this NRS, Honda West was required to provide a written estimate for repair work. The written estimate must include the following elements: The name and address of the automotive repair facility. A description of the problem reported by the customer or an identification of the work or service to be performed. An itemized list of parts and labor along with the costs for each. A statement indicating whether the replacement parts will be new, used, or reconditioned. The total estimated price for labor and parts. Any diagnostic fees. Any charge for shop supplies or hazardous waste disposal, if applicable. A statement indicating that the customer is entitled to the return of replaced parts, except for warranty or exchange parts, if requested at the time the work order is placed. A statement that the repair facility will not exceed the written estimate by more than 10% unless authorized by the customer. NRS 487.190 - Unlawful Acts; Penalties: This section outlines various unlawful acts, such as making false promises, misrepresenting services, and other deceptive practices. Violation of this statute is a misdemeanor. NRS 487.220 - Administrative Fines: This section allows for administrative fines to be levied against repair facilities for violations of the statutes governing automotive repairs. NRS 487.227 - Civil Remedies: This section provides for civil remedies, including the ability to recover damages and attorney's fees, for violations of the statutes governing automotive repairs. More

The positive online reviews seem to center around custom This review is specific towards my personal experience with Honda West’s Service Dept.only. The positive online reviews seem to center around customers satisfaction during their car purchasing experiences….. I’m guessing that a new service manager is in place because my last visit nearly 4 years ago was superior. Period. Back then I experienced some of the best customer service Honda prides itself with. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for todays visit. Service excellence has gone away completely in the service dept. I did not have an appt. & I got in that lane. You know, the lanes that say, “Appointments only” “No appointments only” (I happened to be the lucky only ONE car in this embarrassment of a lane. I say embarrassment because it singles you out, and you are treated exactly like you are a nobody. At least that’s my experience this morning). I waited , & waited…, & waited for ANYONE to approach. After waiting 20 min. w/o any contact, (I didn’t need anything fancy, perhaps some eye contact with a quick, “Hello ma’am, (I see you), someone will be right with you” would have gone a long way with me. Perhaps avoiding my energy & time to write this negative review. After being passed up, & passed up, & passed up again, I learn cars w/appointments “take priority” - (Michael Davis, service advisor) Now I had enough. Literally called Service mngr, who couldn’t address me because he was “in a meeting” -(Dave, appointment scheduler). Dave was lacking a smile over the phone, he had a depressing tone of voice, no “pep” & NON HELPFUL . limited his role in the sense when he told me all he does is “appointment scheduler” & didn’t attempt to address my complaint or frustration, (or he just did not want to), I had to keep asking him questions: “Who’s next in command/charge @ the dealership when the service mngr isn’t available ?” I get the, “Umm I don’t know” dull response & NO initiative to try & at least just TRY to assist me w/anyone else who has any pull. While standing outside my vehicle attempting to contact SOMEONE who’s capable of telling me something. Tell me one thing; Am I in the wrong lane? Can someone give me an ETA? I just needed contact! I observed Michael Davis, Service advisor, FINALLY taking notice of my presence. ( Why it had to take phone calls to dealership & me getting out of my vehicle idk. I chalk it up to being at the wrong dealership and boy was that proven to me during my interaction with “Michael Davis.” Please, by all means would somebody retrain Michael Davis & equip him w/better customer service skills? No smile, lack of energy, & dark personality, Talks in sentences using discouraging tactics. Eg; “In fact your oil change wait is going to be longer. Your looking at over 3 hours.” “See all those cars in line over there, yea there all here for service too.” “Appointments get priority” “We don’t have loaner cars” “If you already know what the issue is with your car then we can do the A-1 special, up to you” *Looks up at me like I’m wasting his time. “Your looking at a 3-4 hour average wait time” was the moment I completely & mentally check out. I have NO desire to give this dealership a single dime of my hard earned money. I literally said to Michael, “You know, I made a mistake coming to this dealership for my service. Those guys over at Findlay Honda of Henderson have me so spoiled. They pride themselves on customer service and always take care of me and that’s why I keep returning to Honda because its reputation for their customer service. But it’s here at Honda West that sucks. It’s always this dealership that disappoints.” I drive off and pulled to the side in the car lot and went online to Findlay Honda of Henderson & I literally booked my service appointment right then and there, & to be seen within exactly half an hour. Imagine that! An accommodating Honda dealership! Wow! What do you know?! More
