I was about 400 miles from home and my car broke down. Took to Honda Van Nuys and besides what need to be fix on my car to get it back on the road they told me it needed a bunch of other things fixed. They said I need brakes, I had a busted motor mount and more. They wanted an additional $7000 for the other stuff they said was wrong with the car. I had the car checked out before my trip it was find. I had them fix the one problem to get it back on the road then took it the next day to a different shop and had them inspect my car. Guess what, my car is fine. Honda was taking advantage for me for being a senior and 400 miles from home on vacation. Honda needs to take an ethics class! I called the district but I don’t think they are doing anything about it. They say they are independent. I will never ever step foot into a Honda deal again!!! More

I recently had an appointment with Tony Castro regarding my right front axle inspection. Initially, I was under the impression that the inspection would be free, as indicated in the original paperwork. Howe my right front axle inspection. Initially, I was under the impression that the inspection would be free, as indicated in the original paperwork. However, I was surprised to see a $220 charge on my bill when I arrived. While Tony mentioned that the warranty might cover the issue, there was no clarification about the inspection fee. After discussing my concerns, the service director was able to refund me the amount, which I appreciate. However, I believe the initial charge was unjustified, as my contract states I should only be charged based on an approved estimate. Overall, while the refund resolved the immediate issue, the lack of clear communication left me frustrated. More
