I experienced one of the worst experiences cry at Honda of Van Nuys of my entire life. I arrived at dealership at 9:15am (appointment time) but was left unassisted for 30 minutes. An advisor finally appro of Van Nuys of my entire life. I arrived at dealership at 9:15am (appointment time) but was left unassisted for 30 minutes. An advisor finally approached me and I continued to explain the issue which was a creaking noise from the driver door interior panel. I was told that this is a rare issue and expect to be finished by 2:00 pm. Ok, no problem! I went home and waited. 2 pm approached and NO update, email or text of the status. Maybe it’s just taking longer, no problem. 3 pm, still NO update, email or text. I got a little anxious so I called the dealer to only have an option of leaving a message to an advisor that I didn’t know the name of as I was never provided with the name or any paper work related to the problem. 3:07 pm, I received an automated text message from the advisor, Leslie (finally discovering the advisor’s name) and was advised she’ll provide update shortly. When I replied asking update, ZERO response. 4 pm, still NO update, email or text from the advisor. Now I am a little annoyed so I decided to contact the dealership myself only to be forwarded to a voicemail. 4:30 pm, NO update, email or text from the advisor. I called them again only to be forwarded to a voicemail. 4:45 pm, NO update, email or text. I contacted the dealer and the receptionist informed there wasn’t any available advisor and discovered they close at 5. 4:57 pm, finally received a call back from Leslie (Service Advisor) to inform me that the car is done and to pick up the key and paperwork from the reception desk as they’ll be gone by the time I arrive at the dealership. ZERO further explanation or apology for the delay. When I asked if the issue is resolved, she replied “noise is GOING to go away”. I arrived at the dealership around 5:10 to find my car parked in the guest parking lot and entered the service department to pick up the key and the paperwork.Leslie was getting ready to leave for the day and I was lucky enough to cross path as I had to explain the frustration I experienced at the dealership. I can’t describe the level of incompetency and frustration I received from the advisor. Furthermore, how a dealer even placed her as an advisor role when she missed all the essential role of being an advisor is a great mystery. Conclusion: Door creak noise is still there. Entire Saturday wasted. ZERO update or even effort to provide after reaching out 4 times. ZERO competency or customer service from Leslie. ZERO transparency to work performed as the technician states “No noise discovered or able to duplicate” which tells me nothing has been done. Absolute different than what she said “was GOING to go away”. More
