I had a deeply disappointing experience at Keyes Honda in Van Nuys. During a recent visit, Rudy, a parts associate, yelled at me, a customer. Today, Tuesday, August 13th, 2024, at 10:20 AM, I finally received a call from the parts manager. Unfortunately, the conversation only added to my frustration. The manager's response was dismissive and unprofessional. He essentially told me, "I'm sorry you took it that way," implying that the issue was with my perception rather than addressing the unacceptable behavior of their employee. He stated that their employee denied yelling, and since there was no "evidence," they would not take further action beyond possibly discussing tone with Rudy. The manager's repeated use of phrases like "you may have perceived," "you felt," and "miscommunication" was patronizing and insulting, as if I was not competent to recognize when someone was yelling at me. This approach not only deflected responsibility but also minimized my experience as a customer. I am disappointed by how this situation was handled. There was no accountability, no sincere apology, and no meaningful action taken. It seems clear that Keyes Honda in Van Nuys is more concerned with protecting their employees behaviors than ensuring a respectful and positive experience for their customers. I expected much better from a reputable dealership and am incredibly disappointed with this entire ordeal. More
