Very disappointing I am very disappointed with my recent experience at Honda. Not only was a coupon for an oil change not honored, when I thought to look a little more I am very disappointed with my recent experience at Honda. Not only was a coupon for an oil change not honored, when I thought to look a little more closely at my bill I discovered that I had been charged for a loaner car that I was told would be at no charge. I wonder how many times this has happened since I don't usually dissect and add up each line item on my Honda bill. I called today to complain and I am told that a credit for the car (not the missing oil change coupon) would be put on my account for the next time I bring my car in for service. I certainly hope they honor that promise. More
Poor Costumer Service When I picked up my vehicle, I was informed not all of the requested work had been completed and the gentleman shrugged his shoulders at me. I pointed out the written work reques and he said it didn't get done. Several other employees just stared and he shrugged his shoulders and said "we didn't do it." I was uncomfortable and left with no options for resolution, just given back my car. I left a voicemail and asked for a manger to call. Two days later I received a call defending their costumer service and explaining the work was in fact done. The manager wasn't responsive to my concern, rather defensive and talked at me. When I stated my opinion to her that my husband probably would not have been treated the same way, she said she doubted that because 85% of their business comes from women. Well then, I guess shrugging shoulders, not completing work, and not offering an appointment to complete the work, is how the Honda Barn treats women. Very disappointed. More

My Leaking Tire I noticed that my left rear tire was losing air. I called the Honda Barn and they took me in. Brendan looked at the tire and found the problem right I noticed that my left rear tire was losing air. I called the Honda Barn and they took me in. Brendan looked at the tire and found the problem right away. IIt was a piece of metal that had gone through the tire. He patched the tire and at the same time checked all the other tires. I was very satisfied. More

Recognizing that we plan The Honda Barn staff is friendly, professional, and honest. Our 2004 CRV needed an airbag replacement and a few other things. Recognizing that we planned on selling or donating the car at summer's end, the staff didn't press to address all the things that a 13-year-old car needs. Instead, they fixed what was obviously broken and stopped. I'd recommend the dealership to anyone seeking to buy or service a Honda. More

They told me it would take 1.5 hours because it needed to be connected to the computer for the sticker. I have been driving for 40 years and it has never taken more than 20 minutes for an inspection and 10 minutes for an oil change. It took them 2 hours to do the job. We are very happy with the HRV but will not be going back to that dealership for service. More

Service Department Gets The Job Done I brought my nearly two-year old Honda Civic in for 10,000 mile check, and had friendly and prompt service as usual. Somewhat pricy and the 15,000 mi I brought my nearly two-year old Honda Civic in for 10,000 mile check, and had friendly and prompt service as usual. Somewhat pricy and the 15,000 mile check for next time might be a bit out of my price range, but there's lots to be said for having the Honda Dealership from which I purchased my car do the job. In this case, the "re-calibration" of the on-board tire monitoring system wasn't done by the Honda Service Department after rotation of the tires, and my "Check Tire!" message came on as I drove home. I almost turned around to go back to the dealership. Fortunately, I remembered reading something about that in the guidebook, so I found the directions -- quite easily, actually -- and did the re-calibration myself within 60 seconds. Other than that minor problem, I'm always satisfied by Honda Depot in Stratham! More
