Service Dept is always look to fix something I went in for state inspection in September and was told I needed new rear brakes, which was definitely true. At that point I also requested the batt I went in for state inspection in September and was told I needed new rear brakes, which was definitely true. At that point I also requested the battery be looked at due to a manufacturer recall. Both items were fixed, and was told the multi-point inspection was done. About a week or two later, I had an alert in my car to check the battery charger. I brought the car in, and asked for it to be looked at (while referencing the recall had just been done). I was told that the battery was not a Honda battery (again true since I had already had the battery replaced), and the sensors were not working because the connectors on the new battery were located in a different place than it should be. I was told they fixed it the best they could and if the alert comes up again to replace the battery with a Honda battery. I was told my car went through their multi-point inspection. I recently received a phone call saying the part that was ordered for my car had come in and I should schedule an appointment for it to be installed. I mentioned I had no idea there was a part ordered, and asked what it was for. I was told it was for the battery and the service would be of no charge since it had to do with the recall. I scheduled an appointment. My car was worked, I was asked if I could talk to them about a couple of things that came up that my car needed. I was told I needed a drive belt as well as front brake calipers, totalling about $260. I told them I came in for the part installation and did not want any further service conducted that day. I was again told my car would go through the multi-point inspection and be washed. I went back to the waiting room where I heard another customer being told their car needed additional services. The customer replied,Zwaan " This appointment was to be of no charge since it was a manufacturer recall service." Hmmmm.... when my car was ready, it was still slightly soapy and windows were smeared or not washed at all. My question is, if your service department conducted a multi-point inspection 2 times (one being a state inspection and it was determined my brake needed to be replaced) how could the front calipers be over looked as well as the drive belt? It had only been about a month and a half maximum time frame. My complaint is, whenever I go to have an oil change or a manufacturer recall service, I am ALWAYS told I need something additional fixed. I have heard many other customers in the waiting area make the same complaints, as well as how long they have to wait for their car (over the projected time frame). Honda Barn is lucky enough to be the only Honda dealership on the Seacoast (and closer than going to Manchester or North Shore, MA), however, your service department is getting a reputation for trying to get money from their customers. This will not help your business, and more likely will cost you your customers. More

In a flash Mike had my car in with a technician, arranged a ride so could be on time for my meeting, fixed the van ( no small task) and had m back on the road to home that evening. Everyone I encounter Mike Service guy, the service manager ( cant recall him name) and even the woman who took my payment... all were friendly and helpful. A great experience across the board!!! More

Not great I was called about a recall on my Honda. I brought my car in for the repair. I then get a call a,week later that I have to bring it in again. Friendly Service Keeps Me Coming Back to Honda Barn Honda Barn makes getting my car serviced easy. This last time they called me to remind me of my service. Their call came in on a Friday and they fit Honda Barn makes getting my car serviced easy. This last time they called me to remind me of my service. Their call came in on a Friday and they fit me in the next day so I was able to get my servicing done when it was convenient for me. They had it done within an hour and called me immediately. Not to mention how friendly the staff is every time I come in. More

Just trying to get a simple oil change The service department tried to get me to do more than an oil change when I went in and then they didn't reset the Oil Life gauge on my dashboard. When I called about it they said bring it back in, I said no can you get someone on the phone to tell me how to do it they said NO everyone is too busy and took my number to call me back - no one ever called me back. I had to google it and figured out how to do it myself. I am NOT happy and wanted to start shopping for a new car - I don't think I want another Honda if this is how I get treated! The entire experience was hostile - makes me think management treats the employees like xxxx and they just give it to the consumers. More

I had the rear differential fluid done a couple months ago, so I feel I was being scammed. I was not informed that they were going to go through my car like that. I have my own mechanic for such things, and did not appreciate having to wait for them to do unnecessary work. They had no business doing that. More
