When I questi I was quoted for different tires that weren’t installed on my vehicle & charged for a service that I was told I wouldn’t be charged for. When I questioned Dan I never got a response. Dan also was “going to call me when tired came in”. A week later I called Honda Barn and the tires had been there for a week. ???? Was NOT impressed with this go around this time. More
Always great service The service there is always great, which is why I keep returning. Service folks are personable and take time to explain any problems that were found. I had to drop off my car the night before because I could get there at 8. So, with out telling me, they cancelled my 8:00 and didn't service my car until the end of the day. I called and they said they were starting the service. Later, I called again and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I went 1/2 hour later and they said, at the dealership that it would be another 5 minutes. It took another 20 minutes. Finally at 5:30 in the afternoon, I was able to get my car. Not good service. It was only an inspection and an oil change and tire rotation. Not too tough. More

Nice Staff/Be Careful with MX Quotes Overall, the staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was nice if you need to wait several hours for your vehicle to be worked on. If you're lookin Overall, the staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was nice if you need to wait several hours for your vehicle to be worked on. If you're looking for fair/honest prices, this is not the place. Went in for a routine annual inspection, and was quoted $900 for parts, and an additional $500 in labor for a recommended job. The pricing seemed a little off, so I went to my local town auto mechanic and purchased premium parts through them (Not Honda Barn), and paid a total of $165 (More than a $700 markup). Additionally, while waiting in the lobby, another friendly maintenance staff member did a great job of making a simple job sound extremely complicated to the nice lady sitting next to me, and charged her nearly $75 for something she could have done herself for free. I would only recommend Honda Barn for basic maintenance, like oil changes, filters etc. However expect them to come back and make it seem like your car is a major risk, and needs a ton of work for a premium price. Can Every Visit Expose a Problem? I have been taking my 2013 Civic SE regularly to Honda Barn since purchasing it used from another dealership. Each regular 5000 mile oil change seems I have been taking my 2013 Civic SE regularly to Honda Barn since purchasing it used from another dealership. Each regular 5000 mile oil change seems to bring a new issue or snafu by the service team, which I experience some annoyance with, but this LAST (in more than one way) visit topped them all. My 8:00 AM oil change did not begin until well after 8:15 (why schedule me for 8:00 if you are not ready at 8:00). After the regular wait, I was visited by Service Associate Nathan, to point out that I was past due for brake and transmission fluid (60,000+ services). I turned down the request due to a schedule conflict. Moments later, Nathan appears to tell me that my rear brakes are down to 1mm. He told me the way they check during the multi point inspection is to spin the wheels while on the lift, if they spin freely, great, if they don't they check into why. Makes sense. I had a sticky or frozen right caliper. Hmm, if this check is done with every multi point inspection, why was it not noticed my last oil change? I also asked Nathan to check my repair history, because Honda Barn had replaced my rear brake pads already. Nathan assured me I was WRONG, fronts wear out before rears, this car would not need new rears with this type of mileage. I asked again to check my history. I was calling home to have the rear brake paperwork sent to me, as a sheepish Nathan returned to say that I had a good memory (gee thanks, it is my car, time and money), HB had replaced the rear brake pads. Nathan also said seeing me on the phone "Oh, checking in with the Commander in Chief?" If my car had not been on the lift at that time, I would have driven away. I inquired again as to why if this is checked each multi point inspection, how is was missed last time? The last service, my onboard computer had not been reset giving messages based on now 10,000 miles, not 5,000 miles, so it appears not only was the computer not dealt with, but my wheels were not spun. I was told that with a history like mine (would I know this??), I would need to make sure that the wheels were spun each time. Is it part of the multi point or not? The big question was next, since Nathan had said that a Civic with my mileage should not need new rear brake pads until maybe now (I am on set three) doesn't HB share in the responsibility for this in some way. Nathan jumped up and went to the Service Manager. After what looked like the stereotypical car sales deal negotiation with pointing and head shaking, Nathan came back with my 'deal', the Honda brake pads at the after market price of pads, a percentage off on the fluids if I did it all that day. My schedule for the day at that point was trashed, so I said yes to all. I was at HB for the biggest part of 4+ hours. This will be the last time I bring my Civic to Honda Barn, I will find a dealer who detects issues when they are issues for example my battery was at 'crisis' level a year ago, and I declined the replacement. I have never heard about my battery again. Hmmm. I have responded to the lovely women who calls about each service and get her sincere apologies, but never hear from anyone else in a position to do something about what has occurred. More

Called at 5pm the next day to inquire on our van and the service department didn't even know it was there. After being placed on hold they told us our overnight envelope had become stuck in the box. I understand that things happen but i don't feel much effort was put into solving this problem. #1 When the appointment time came for our van ( 9am) the service dept could have called us on the whereabouts of our van, #2 .We received our email reminder the day before to confirm it was coming. #3 We purchased the van from you so previous service records would have given the service department the color, year, model and even the license plate number of our van and last, but not least, the van was parked next to the building by the service door entrance. They would have almost tripped over it every time someone used the door. We had to change plans to pick up the van the following day!.Doesn't sound like a lot of effort does it? More
