Recall part I came to the dealership on July 27th for a recall item (air bag replacement). When I arrived, I was informed that the replacement part had not arriv I came to the dealership on July 27th for a recall item (air bag replacement). When I arrived, I was informed that the replacement part had not arrived yet, and I would have to return at a later date after the part had finally arrived. What bothered me was that they could have save me a round trip from Portsmouth by simply calling me that morning to say the part wasn't in yet. Since my appointment was at 10:30am, it would have been easy to check and make sure the part was there that morning. When I eventually go for the replacement part, I will let the service manager know that they wasted my time and gas that morning by not having the courtesy of calling me ahead of time.
