I've worked with Donnie and Jeff in the passed with my 2004 CR-V that I purchased @ Honda Barn in Stratham and also had serviced there. Honda CR-V Repair This started off to be a very bad experience, being told that my brake pads needed repairing to the tune of $650 dollars. This, on a leased CR-V with This started off to be a very bad experience, being told that my brake pads needed repairing to the tune of $650 dollars. This, on a leased CR-V with only 30,000 miles on it. I refused to pay this amount and said I would turn the car in first. I very much felt like I was being taken. That is outrageous and caused a great deal of personal stress. In the end, after fighting this, doing some research, and causing me to exhibit some behaviors that I don't like to see in myself, Honda picked up the tab on this repair, calling it "good will". Excuse, me, I pay enough of this car every month, so I don't really consider it "good will". I have not been happy with Honda's maintenance service - it's always one more thing, one more expense in addition to regular 5,000 mile oil changes and tire rotation. The reason I lease a car is so that, if it is a good product, it should not need such repairs within the three year lease period. Something as a widow, I do not wish to deal with. It seems that as a lease car, just as being a landlord, it is the "landlord's" duty to pay for any repairs on the property he or she owns. That being said, the only good part of this experience was the young man who waited on me at the service desk when I took the car back for the service. His name is Brendon, and he was very polite, patient, kind, calming and respectful to a woman who clearly was on the edge. I am deeply grateful to him, and hope that Honda will recognize his efforts. The jury is still out as to whether I will lease another Honda in February when this lease expires, or go back to a Toyota Rav 4 on which I never had to have such repairs with the 3 or 4 that I leased. I recently heard of someone who leases a Camry for $99 a month, no maintence expense. This Honda was the first car I leased on my own, but I am learning what to look for and be aware of, so we'll see. More

Oil change and tire rotation Service was great as far as tires and oil change HOWEVER after I got my kids all strapped in to go I noticed their "complimentary car wash" that I wai Service was great as far as tires and oil change HOWEVER after I got my kids all strapped in to go I noticed their "complimentary car wash" that I waited an extra 15min for was a joke--dirt streaks, dirty windows, dead bugs residue on my car. It appeared maybe they had squirted the windshield with a hose but that was still dirty too. Already having spent enough time at the dealership (1 1/3 hrs already with my 2 young boys) I opted to leave and spend $13 on a touch less car wash on the way home. Next time I'll keep my extra time and wash my Pilot myself.....terrible!!!! More
