If you need service AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! I took my 2020 Honda Civic in on 6/18/22 for an oil change, prior nothing has ever been wrong with the car, so I only needed an OIL CHANGE. I was offered additional service like tire rotations and filter changes so I took them up on those services as well. After the service was performed, I got in the car and it wouldn't start! I sat around for another 2 hours for the service department to tell me a part had failed and I couldn't leave with my vehicle after paying over $250 for the services. I was told they would get me a rental the next business day, a Monday, and that never happened. They are not taking responsibility for whatever error was made on the car to cause the failure and there is nothing they can do for me but wait for the part, which is on backorder with no ETA in site, or try to sell me another car. They wouldn't give me a loaner even though the car was last working when I placed it in the teams possession. You call the service department and get transferred but no one ever answers! I've tried to speak with the service manager Kelly several times but I get no answer ever! They just keep offering to sell me a new car. More
Worst dealership I have EVERRRR been too, paid a $1200 deposit, and didn’t get any of it back! they did a spot delivery with us we had the car a whole month I had insurance got the oil changed and filter, deposit, and didn’t get any of it back! they did a spot delivery with us we had the car a whole month I had insurance got the oil changed and filter, no paperwork when we signed saying they would mail us a copy, then they filled out all the paperwork incorrectly trying to make a sale, when I brought the car back, had the nerve to ask me to apply for another loan but now I have to put down $800 on top of the $1200 they just took from me. They never called me I called capital one to see when my payment was due, that’s when I found out the never filed the paperwork for the loan and it failed through. When I brought them the keys back still didn’t give me any paperwork then the GM act like he so busy and has no time to help you unless you buying a car. Worst experience I ever had if you take the time to read these reviews trust me believe them especially the BAD ONES! Save yourself the trouble and run the other way! More
Honda South has been my go-to place for service, but the service has progressively gotten worse. The wait time and lack of detail are at an all-time low. I scheduled an oil change appointment and still waited over 2 hours. My car was inspected, and as I was about to leave I noticed a nail in my tire. Why wasn't this caught by the mechanic? When I brought this concern up to my representative, he became defensive and said that the mechanics are his eyes and ears. He basically took zero accountability. How can they have my car for over 2 hours and not notice a nail after inspecting my tires? This is careless. Honda South please work on decreasing your wait times for simple services and paying attention to details, especially details that could result in terrible accidents for your customers. 2nd interaction was even worse A few weeks ago my key broke out of its casing, and then soon thereafter my car wouldn't start. I assumed it was my key because a key light signal was flashing on the dashboard (I've never seen that before). I also read in my cars' manual that keys can become disabled if broken. I didn't have any extra keys so I called Honda South about my car not starting and to inquire about them copying my original key. I was passed around more than a hot potato. I was transferred to the service department, but no one would pick up the call. I kept getting voicemail. I left a message, but no one returned my call. After waiting hours on them to call me back, I called back. I was transferred again. On my third call, I told the customer service person that no one is picking up or calling me back, and to please try another line. I NEED TO SPEAK TO A HUMAN THAT CAN HELP ME! She transferred me to service, but service transferred me to parts, and then parts transferred me to service AGAIN to schedule an appointment. They said that the car had to be there in order to program the key. It's been almost a month and NO ONE has called to schedule my service appointment. 😡 I obviously went a different route because I couldn't get them to help. After speaking with a few friends, I decided to order new keys online. I waited a couple of days for the keys to arrive. When the keys arrived, I attempted to program them myself, and then I would get them copied. I was not successful, so I found a locksmith on Thumbtack and he came out the same day. During his assessment, he discovered that the battery was low, and that was the reason for the car not starting. 🙄We laughed, but then he popped the hood and we discovered that the battery was from HONDA mf SOUTH!!! 🤬 He said that the battery is too small for my car, and looks like batteries GOLF CARTS. WTH He was nice enough to purchase a new battery and bring it back to my house to install. My car is working, but no thanks to Honda South. I need a full reimbursement for that toy battery that someone decided to put in a car with a V6 engine. HONDA SOUTH your days are numbered and I still have NOT received a phone call from your service department. 🗑 Oh, and I also sent an email to Kelly (a manager), with absolutely zero response. Kelly, you emailed me asking about my experience, but never bothered to follow up after I shared my experience. Why waste my time? I rarely spend my time sharing negative experiences online, but this is simply egregious and they need to be dragged. This is your warning to avoid this place. They will never get my business again after going to them for 14 years. More
I have used this location for service for years, beginning when it was Willet Honda, I have never been treated so disrespectful as I was on May 21, I arrived on May 21 for my appointment to have the beginning when it was Willet Honda, I have never been treated so disrespectful as I was on May 21, I arrived on May 21 for my appointment to have the Create your Own Package service performed, when I made the appointment the price showing was $399.00, when I arrived at the service dept, I was told the price was $449.00, I told the young man, No, when I made my appt it was $399, he told me to prove it, I told him all I had was a confirmation text, not a text with the price showing, I explained to him, I have been a loyal customer for years, even having a transmission replaced in my Honda Accord years ago and also kept my service in both my Accord and Acura at this dealer, I explained to him that once I saw the price quoted I pressed the tab that says schedule service, not only do I use this location but also my sister in law, it boggles me that for 50 dollar difference he was willing to lose 2 loyal customer, I asked to speak to the service manager and he said I was talking to the service manager. Very disappointed. More
WARNING! !! On 5/10/2022, I took my 2005 Honda Element to Honda South in Morrow, Georgia. My priority repair was my struts. They gave a price of $2,069 to repl !! A couple of days later I was call a service rep to inform me that my car was ready for pick-up. She also informed the day that they were unable to replace my struts, but they replaced my motor mounts. They did not call me before they replaced my motor mounts to see if I still wanted to proceed with the repairs. If they would have called me to discuss the change of our agreement for repairs, I would have informed them that I no longer wanted the replacement, due to not replacing my struts. They did not even call me to discus a price change. They told me I needed to pay $1,500 for the replacement of my motor mounts. The management refuse to resolve this situation. Extremely Poor Service and Not Trustworthy More
These folks pulled a fast one on me. I was in a dire situation. I got in a bad accident on Tara Blvd and needed a car fast. These folks had cold called a family member of mine so we thought we’d bite and see what they have to offer. BIG MISTAKE! HUGE!! They initially showed me two cars under 100,000 miles. I said I liked them and then the dude kept running my credit. My score dropped 16 points that day. I don’t think the guy really negotiated for me at all. They just kept hitting my credit and then when they got a trash offer for an SUV, just gave it to me. Completely went in there vulnerable and got swindled. Now I have to eventually trade this car in cause if I keep it for the full 5 years, I’d have paid the price of two cars. I have an almost 30% interest rate and pay almost $700 a month. By the time we were signing the papers, the dude in there was just printing stuff and laughing. Wouldn’t explain anything. I wish I had known to run then. Got absolutely scammed, y’all. When you go to a dealer or used car place, get you a bulldog that knows something about cars and avoid swindlers like this. More
The WORST experience trying to buy a car in my 45 years of buying cars. They lied to me three different ways via web chats and texting to get me into their dealership. 1) The web site advertises $1000 off of buying cars. They lied to me three different ways via web chats and texting to get me into their dealership. 1) The web site advertises $1000 off MSRP, but then they add in a $3000 "Market Adjustment", so the starting price is really $2000 above MSRP. 2) They promised to hold a car for us to look at, but sold it after the promise was made. 3) They said that they would pay $5000 above the KBB price on trade-ins, but they offered $4000 below the KBB value. On top of all that, the salesman barely had time for us as he was running all over the place helping other customers. If they had integrity and did what they promised on-line and in their texts, I would have eagerly given them my business. As it is, I warn you to not listen to the lies and take your business elsewhere. More

If you want my advice stay clear of Honda South this location is a BIG JOKE. More
One of the worst Honda dealerships! Went there last week to purchase a used Acura. Couldn’t agree on a price so left. Today somebody from the dealership texted us saying come by today since they are having to purchase a used Acura. Couldn’t agree on a price so left. Drove 45 miles and upon getting there, some salesman said there’s no summer special and he doesn’t know why the other salesman texted us that. Honda South has one of the worst salesmen ever! Stay away from this dealership! More
