I let her know that we were about $95 apart *per month* from where I wanted to be and let her know what my desired payment was. She replied back that we weren't just $95 apart, but actually $3,000 apart. It's like if I had said there are 12 months in a year and she corrected me to say that there's actually a dozen months in a year...anyway that was my first indication that I might have issues here. I told her that I would need to look elsewhere. She emailed me back asking if I would be interested in a Demo Pilot if she could get to my desired payment. Within 20 minutes I replied back letting her know that yes, I would be interested if it was AWD and if she could in fact get it to my desired payment. I also let her know that I've never even sat in a Pilot, let alone driven one and would need a proper test drive before I committed to it. I didn't hear back from her the rest of that night. Then I also didn't hear back from her all morning the next day. I finally sent a follow up email around 3pm but still didn't hear anything back for the rest of the day. The next day (Saturday) around 10am I called the phone number that was in her email signature and got voicemail but didn't leave a message. I had an offer from another dealership for a Passport but I wanted to make sure I explored all my options...who knows, maybe I would have liked the Pilot better. About an hour later I found the email address for Sean the GM and sent a message asking if he could please get someone to answer the two questions I had. Shortly after I got an email from Eddie with a different phone number asking me to call him. Same result - I got voicemail but didn't leave a message. I emailed Eddie letting him know he missed my call and asked if he could just answer my two simple questions. Two and a half hours later I still haven't heard back from anyone so I decided to call the dealership and ask to speak to the GM (Sean). I got TK on the phone (no issues with him). He said that the GM wasn't in but asked if he could connect me with a sales manager. I reluctantly agreed. TK was as helpful as he could be but he came back on the line to tell me the sales manager was busy and would have to call me back. As I write this review, it's been nearly an hour since I was told I would get a call back but I yet again haven't heard back from anyone. This is a pretty terrible way to treat a potential customer, especially one who fully intends to lease a new car as soon as possible. If you don't want to sell me a car, that's fine, but is it so difficult to simply tell me that instead of stringing me along for 3 d@mn days and throwing off my entire weekend schedule. Maybe you'll have better luck, but that's been my crappy experience. More
I purchased a 2018 Honda HRV. Awesome car totally loaded. I paid cash in full for my car. The dealership paid for an Uber for me to get their. On a stormy night. When I arrived I Awesome car totally loaded. I paid cash in full for my car. The dealership paid for an Uber for me to get their. On a stormy night. When I arrived I met with the dealer Tiffany, who had a really mundane personality. I signed the paperwork with the manager who was rude. Tiffany told me that she was going to have the car detailed. The next morning I noticed dog hair and belongings to the previous owner. Of the car. I also noticed that the passenger visor was in the back seat. I inquiried about the visor. And the dealer told me to screw it back in. Or call parts. The also did not tell or, give me the wheel lock. I found d out that the hard way when I got a flat. They told me the wheel lock would be $100.00 . I have called the service department many times. About the visor , wheel lock and an alarm I paid for. I always get a run around and rude customer service. Unfortunately I have to deal with them once more. More
Horrible place to go. They lied about inventory. Sales representative Jesse called early morning to arrange a drive test. I arrived in the afternoons and found out that They lied about inventory. Sales representative Jesse called early morning to arrange a drive test. I arrived in the afternoons and found out that the vehicle was sold the day before. Horrible service, wasted four hours of my time despite that I had an appointment and they could not even tell when the car would get its turn. I had to take it back and leave without service. that I had an appointment and they could not even tell when the car would get its turn. I had to take it back and leave without service. More

We got on the road very early this morning and during our drive noticed white smoke coming from the car. We pulled over and all of the oil poured out onto the floor of a parking lot. We are now stranded in the mid dle of nowhere unable to drive and get to our destination. This is the most dangerous situation a dealership could leave you in. More
I would warn anyone thinking of buying a vehicle from this dealership to think again....they have zero personal integrity and will lie to your face. In addition to false advertising they intentionally mi this dealership to think again....they have zero personal integrity and will lie to your face. In addition to false advertising they intentionally misled my Wife and I on a recent attempt to buy a vehicle from them, we are a couple hours from them so keep it in mind this is not a case where we could just drive in to see the car and deal in person. We had been looking for a used second-generation CR-V, and thought we had found one, Autotrader showed a newly listed 2004 at Santa Monica Honda with only 61k miles. We went to the dealer’s website and the car showed up there, with a listed price of $7049 and a “buy online” button to the right of the ad. It was after hours so we filled out a “contact dealer” form on the website which sent a email to them requesting details on the vehicle. The next AM , Wed April 28, my Wife called the dealer directly and we were referred to a salesman, Ruben Rodriguez, and she asked for text communication which they agreed to since I have a hearing issue. He was pleasant and told us the car was in the service department and being inspected, and he would let us know when he had more information. He got back later and said it would be ready the next Thursday/Friday and the price would be $7049 plus fees. Meantime, the initial contact form we sent was answered by a different salesperson, Tristen Robertson, who indicated the car was available and when did we want to come look at it. Which contradicted the info it was being inspected and not ready, but since Tristen provided his phone number and invited us to call him, my Wife did so and set up text communication between Tristen and myself also, and asked for clarification as to when it would be ready for purchase. He got back via text saying the car wasn’t ready after all, but would be soon. I said that’s what I thought but keep me posted, which he agreed to do. As well, I replied to his email, where I thanked him for the email reply and the texts, asked for an out the door price on the car, offered to send a deposit to hold the car, and CLEARLY asked that he understand we were not close and to take it into consideration so as not to have someone local buy the car out from under us. I received reply to that email not from Tristen but from an Adriene Limon saying the vehicle would be ready in a few days. After this, my Wife and I decided to do something we’d never done, just because the car seemed so low mileage and we knew there was a good chance someone local might beat us to it, notwithstanding my request to work with us to Tristen. We took a risk and actually hit the “buy online” button on the listing, hoping the car would be a good one and (theoretically!) ensuring it was ours. We immediately got a cheerful “Congratulations! Your order is processing” notification followed by a order summary, with full price listed ($8112.80) and asking us to send a electronic copy of our drivers license and proof of insurance, which we complied with, and telling us the dealer would be in touch soon to finalize the process. Whew! It was ours at least, (so we thought) hope it’s a good car, very scary to buy online but felt we had to.... Ok. SO- later that day I get a text from Tristen: “The Cr-V won’t be ready until next week and he’d keep me updated”. Which I took to mean they had my order and would get back in touch next week to finalize the deal when car was ready. I replied: “That’s fine! Just wanted to make sure I was first in line which is why I bought it online, no rush”. Tristen relies: “you can’t buy it online, only in person or I can send you a credit app and you can send a down payment and then it will really be yours.” (I’m planning on paying cash so don’t need this anyway). I’m understandably dumbfounded: I reply: ?”I don’t understand? I have a receipt for buying it online, which your website offers”? And I attached pics of the receipt. Tristen replies “Let me check with my Partner” and a few minutes later- “I didn’t know you ordered it online, I will keep you updated when the car is ready!! I replied, “Great! Thanks! So at this point I’m like, whew. So confusing....does anyone talk to anyone else at this dealer? But- figured it was done and now I’m just waiting for them to get back in touch when the car is ready, finish processing the online order, have us send the $ and fill out the papers and come get it or have it delivered. This was Thursday, April 29. On Sunday, May 2, three days later- I get THIS email from Tristen: “Unfortaunly (sic)someone and came in and bought the car cash and signed the papers for i do apoligize.(sic) i know you said that you bought it online but if there were no papers signed the car was still up for grabs and again i do apoligize.”(sic) !!!!!!! Unbelievable! We were of course completely livid and I’m at loss for words to describe how disgusted I am with the unprofessional, reneging, borderline criminal behavior of these people. We asked them to provide their Agent for Service of Process which California law requires businesses to do on request and they have not replied or had any further communication with us. I’m exploring any legal recourse I may have, meantime I wanted people contemplating doing business here to be aware of who they are dealing with-hope it helps to know how reprehensible these people are before you get involved with them as we unfortunately did! Bad business, stay away, they leased me a faulty vehicle which I pointed out the issue the day of the purchase( 4 days ago), took it to the dealership garage to fix they said it may take 2-3 days, I tried s which I pointed out the issue the day of the purchase( 4 days ago), took it to the dealership garage to fix they said it may take 2-3 days, I tried sorting it out with the sales team , they pretty much said the deal is done and it’s my problem now. Instead of enjoying our brand new vehicle, I’m wasting my time trying to solve issues because of this dealership’s incompetence of conducting ethical business. What a shame. More
I'm not surprised to see all these one-star reviewsI do I'm not surprised to see all these one-star reviews I do LOVE MY HONDA 2017 HRV however while I realize that this is the age of a pandemic - and many I'm not surprised to see all these one-star reviews I do LOVE MY HONDA 2017 HRV however while I realize that this is the age of a pandemic - and many businesses are understandably operating below par of their normal standard - this business seems as if it was trying to go out of its way to frustrate their customers. Honda service makes it nearly impossible to book service. From a time-consuming automated AI chat to the eventual link sent in their chat to a non-working page, finally there is a global number leading to a recorded phone loop during business hours. Was there any point leaving a message? I tried and yes, the business called back at the end of business hours telling me to call back again (not leaving a number). I go to the website to get the same useless number, get the same recorded message telling me to leave another message. You'd think it simple enough to set up an online system of booking. At the very least, farm out the calls to people who are in any number of locations, able to book service. Managers...do you read these reviews? Corporate office, do you read the reviews? Happy to find someone who needs the work and pay them instead. More

We had our loan set up with this bank, and everything was good to go. BUT, the dealership got impatient and set up our loan with another bank. We got the car in September, and we're well into January, and good to go. BUT, the dealership got impatient and set up our loan with another bank. We got the car in September, and we're well into January, and still have not received all of our paperwork. To say that they're very incompetent is an understatement. It gets better: they haven't even filed all the correct information with the DMV, and tried to turn it around on the DMV for us not getting all of our paperwork. The little engine light in my car has been on since we leased the car; they claimed it would eventually go off. More
