From the moment I stepped foot in this dealer it was a bad experience. First of all no one greeted me when I got there and I was just standing like a fool next to the employees on their computer. Second, bad experience. First of all no one greeted me when I got there and I was just standing like a fool next to the employees on their computer. Second, the guy who helped me(Steve) never told me his name and had an attitude like he didn’t care for his job. I found out his name through an automated text message I got in the waiting room. Third, it took a little over 2 hours for Steve to come into the waiting room to get an update that they were barely going to start service due to being short staffed. I understand that it’s busy and you’re short staffed but that would have been good to know before I was checked in. The fact I waited 2 hours before I got an update was unacceptable. I took my car in because the rear camera, side camera, and apple carplay stopped working. They also asked if I wanted a complimentary AC Check, which I agreed to. After waiting 1.5 hours they came out and and apple carplay stopped working. They also asked if I wanted a complimentary AC Check, which I agreed to. After waiting 1.5 hours they came out and said I needed a new rear view camera $500, the apple carplay was fine, and about $2,100 for an AC Evaporator. When I inquired about the side camera he said let me go check. He came back and informed me I was right, there was a software update that needed to be performed and that fixed all the issues, its a good thing I assumed they were connected and pushed back on buying a new backup camera. I then went to drive away and my AC would not work. I turned around and came back. They looked at the car again, which was more of my time only to say I needed a new fan motor. I asked if they would take care of this since the car was in their possession when the motor suddenly stopped working? Kevin informed me they would not be. I asked to speak with a manager and was introduced to David T. He also informed me that things happen and I would have to pay for this. He also said this was something "Electronic" and they did nothing to cause the motor to not work since their AC inspection was visual. But they did do a software update, which could have also caused the motor to stop if it is "electronics" causing the issue. However, Honda on Grand elected to take no responsibility and said this was just coincidence that a motor was working fine when brought in and happened to stop working when it was returned to me. I used to be a loyal customer who did all my maintenance at the dealership. However, I will now be taking my vehicle in for service elsewhere and will purchase my next Honda from another dealer. More
They were courteous and helpful they made me feel comfortable. The waiting room was clean and spacious. I go here because it is so convenient. I love that they will drive me to work (nearby) and pick me up when the car is done. However, I regularly have issues trying to get picked up to retr I love that they will drive me to work (nearby) and pick me up when the car is done. However, I regularly have issues trying to get picked up to retrieve my vehicle. Most recently, the service agent didn't even let me know the car was done. And good luck trying to get in touch with a service agent as they are always on the phone with another customer. I honestly don't think it is the agent's fault but rather how the system is managed. They should have a service rep who handles the communication for all completed vehicles. This would keep the others focused on customers dropping off. More
