Overall: Honda on Grand is a good car dealership overall, with a great salesman named Vince. However, the finance department, particularly Edgar, is shady and untrustworthy. I would recommend Vince overall, with a great salesman named Vince. However, the finance department, particularly Edgar, is shady and untrustworthy. I would recommend Vince 100%, but I would ask for anyone else than Edgar for the financing portion. Sales: Vince is an amazing salesman. He is responsive, provides information as requested, and is great to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a car from Honda on Grand. Vince is extremely knowledgeable about the cars he sells. He was able to answer all of my questions and help me find the perfect car for my needs and budget. Vince is very patient and understanding. He didn't pressure me to buy a car that I wasn't comfortable with, and he took the time to explain all of my options to me. Vince is very friendly and personable. He made the car buying process enjoyable and stress-free. Vince is honest and trustworthy. I never felt like he was trying to sell me something I didn't need or want. Vince is committed to customer satisfaction. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend Vince to anyone looking to buy a car. Finance: Edgar in the finance department is very shady. He showed me a sign off sheet and did not correct me when I signed on the wrong line, which resulted in a service contract being added to my purchase without my consent. He also proceeded to enter selections on an iPad without giving me an opportunity to review them. I take responsibility for not reviewing the printed paperwork to make sure that there was no service contract, but Edgar's behavior was less than transparent and made me drive 2 hours (1 hour there and another hour back) to correct the mistake. Recommendation: I would recommend Honda on Grand, but I would ask for anyone else than Edgar for the financing portion. I understand that finance is incentivized to sell service contracts, but Edgar's behavior was unacceptable. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars, with 1 star deducted for the shady behavior of Edgar in the finance department. More
