We purchased our 2005 honda odyssey ex on feb 01, 2005 <br>first i called the dealership and spoke with the sales manager<br>"Rey" and he said he can sell the odyssey to us for $25,500,<br>after all the de <br>first i called the dealership and spoke with the sales manager<br>"Rey" and he said he can sell the odyssey to us for $25,500,<br>after all the dealing he gave us $25,810.00 on the van,<br>but that is not my main concern, my main point is the salesman "Servhey"<br>Sales manager "Rey" and me agreed on a $***.00 monthly payment,<br>but when we get inside the financial manager's office, Aamir Kamal the<br>Financial Manager began <br>writing the contract and he said he needs to add $30.00 monthly taxes<br>as what he said we need to pay and he said the it's because we live in<br>Chicago and Chicago taxes are high, i told him "i know u only have to pay taxes on a <br>leased vehicles only, he said it doesn't matter if it's a lease or financed<br>u have to pay for $30.00 monthly tax, he began writing and when we looked<br>at the contract, it didnt say there that we have to pay the monthly tax as <br>what he said, i asked him where is the $30.00 that we have to pay here, he said<br>he already summed up the payments of $***.00 + $30.00 tax of-course i believed <br>that we need to pay, we don't want to back-out coz I'm thinking that we really need to pay<br>the 30.00 everywhere we go, he summed up the monthly payment to $***.00.<br>he even said that the $30.00 is coming n da mail separately.<br><br>"I'm willing to do the LIE DETECTOR TEST, if we need to do it." just to prove <br>that we are not lying.<br><br>After we signed the contract we went home and called him the day after, <br>asked him about that $30.00 added tax, i even told him that i bought a car<br>on 1999 and didnt pay for the $30.00 monthly, i even asked my dad for that monthly<br>tax coz they just bought a car in Schaumburg and didnt even pay the monthly 30.00<br>so i talked to Aamir Kamal Grand Honda's Financial Manager on the phone and he said<br>it's different now, the law has changed we really need to pay the $30.00 tax.<br><br>After investigating the tax for 2-3 weeks i called this one salesman and asked if we really <br>need to pay the monthly tax, this salesman said "NO" coz u already paid it through the<br>amount of the van and it's already included on what u have paid, but not the monthly payment.<br>i even called the AMERICAN HONDA FINANCIAL SERVICE in elgin il, i asked them if we need to pay<br>this monthly taxes on a financed vehicle and the lady that i spoke to says we dont need<br>to pay for a monthly tax, if it's a lease yes we need to pay, but its because it<br>was financed we dont need to pay the $30.00 monthly taxes.<br><br>I was pissed, i called Aamir Kamal the Financial Manager and told him that he lied to us <br>about this 30.00 tax added to $***.00, and now he is bailing his self-out he said that<br>we didn't understand him, he said the 30.00 was from the GAP insurance and the extended <br>warranty. We (Me and my wife) fully understood what he said that night about the $30.00<br>tax and he even said that we need to add the GAP insurance so that the bank will<br>approve us, IT WAS ALL A LIE!!!! He Defrauded US!!!, HE LIED TO US!!!<br><br> More
