My husband and I immediately get turned off at the whole “game.” We knew the car we wanted, and Pat knew that. He simply just informed us of our options, and then he moved on. If we needed another car, we would come to Pat because we know he wouldn’t try to guilt us/push us into buying more than we wanted. Five stars! I don’t remember the name of the financial representative, but he was our second stop. He was kind, but definitely more pushy than we wanted when it came to warranties. We’re totally fine with people doing their jobs, but it was a little uncomfortable with how he did not accept “no” as an answer. We said no about three times until we came to an agreement with a warranty. My husband and I are safe drivers and keep up with maintenance with our cars, so this is why we kept saying no. I hope this type of sales tactic disappears at some point, but I have a feeling it won’t. I know he’s just doing his job, but I think financial advisors understand that people are tired after the hours of buying a car. In other words, it’s sometimes easier to break people down when they’re exhausted. All in all, we were pretty pleased with our experience. We will go back! More
My vehicle had an active recall, so I brought it in to be serviced. i explicitly stated while dropping my vehicle off that the only work to be done was the necessary work to replace the recalled part. When I picked my vehicle up and drove away, I instantly knew that there was an issue. I pulled over, and measured my tire pressure of each tire to be ten pounds over the recommended level. While pulled over I called the service center where I spoke with David Taub who did my repair, and he stated that a Multi Point Inspection had also been done and that checking and adjusting tire pressure was part of this service, which I very clearly stated I did not want to have performed. David's negligence significantly increased the chance that I could have had a tire failure. More
