We have had our Hondas serviced at Sunnyside for the past 5 years because it is close to our house. We were in search of a new minivan, so I went in to have them run the numbers and see what kind of a deal 5 years because it is close to our house. We were in search of a new minivan, so I went in to have them run the numbers and see what kind of a deal I could get. We didn't need a van until December, but I was hoping to get a good deal on a 2011. I made it clear that I did not need to buy anytime soon. The saleswoman was very friendly to begin. Some of her questions and remarks were strange- and she seemed to think I was a moron. (Ex. She felt the need to remind me that the payment on a fully loaded Odyssey Touring (40K) would be higher than what I was paying on my CR-V (25K). Um... yeah, I figured that one out on my own.) She brought back a good deal but told me that I had to decide before I left or the deal was gone because they were raising the price due to high demand. I was there without my husband and had trouble reaching him at work. I tried to contact my husband, four phone calls, an email and text and couldn't reach him. I apologized and told her I couldn't buy a $40,000 vehicle without discussing it with him first. I told her I wasn't sure what I should do. This is where she really changed her tune--she had put about 1.5 hrs into working with me and was pissed to think she wouldn't get the sale. She responded by telling me " I know what I would do, I wouldn't pass up this deal." I asked if there were anyway that I could have 24 hours so I could decide with my spouse. She returned from talking to the manager about it and told me I could have an hour IF I gave them a deposit by credit card. Really?! . I apologized, again, and she told me " You don't need to apologize to me, you need to apologize to yourself for missing out on this great deal." Okay, this one set me over the edge and I should have walked out. My husband called, we discussed, more than anything how ridiculous the pressure was and I was fuming mad. I told her that they obviously didn't want my business and I couldn't believe how poorly I was being treated. I asked for the managers email address so I could put in writing how upset I was with how I was treated and how ridiculous it was that I was pressured to purchase a car without my spouse. He came out to speak with me and claimed it was business and he'd be happy to give me until the next morning to decide and still get the offered price. It was a good deal, but we passed on it because of how they conducted business. We will not ever return to that lot. Not for a new car purchase OR for service. They have lost our business permanently. More
Ok, I had my 2006 Honda Civic was throwing a CEL code P2185, P2183, P0111. I searched on line and found it was a common problem. Honda even issued a TSB for it, I take it to the dealer and tell them what P2185, P2183, P0111. I searched on line and found it was a common problem. Honda even issued a TSB for it, I take it to the dealer and tell them what is wrong and what I wanted replaced the ECT 2 on bottom of the radiator, I even pulled the plug and looked at it before taking it in and knew a pin corroded and broke causing the problem. Before they performed the work they told me they would have to charged me 109 to dignosis it when I told them what was wrong. He eventually said he would work with me on it if it turned out to be what I said. Turned out the problem was exactly as I described. When I went to pay there was still the 109 charge and I said you said you would work with me. He said that I built the discount into the price I charged you. I doubt it very shaddy in my opinion. He said I was luckiy they didnt have to replace whole harness back to the fire wall and charge 1500 for it. When I got home I look at the plug and it wasn't corroded but they chopped it off anyway. They told me the $347 fix was a temp fix and that it wasn't guarnteed. I will not be taking my 2 Honda's for service there ever again. Beware of this service department. Almost $350 to replace a $37 sensor in my opinion is a rip off. More

I just bought a slightly used 2010 Honda Civic from Sunnyside Honda. The salesperson I worked with was Gloria Shirilla. She was very professional, friendly, and very helpful. I was originally looking Sunnyside Honda. The salesperson I worked with was Gloria Shirilla. She was very professional, friendly, and very helpful. I was originally looking at a 2009 Civic, but she found me a better deal on a 2010. I would recommend Sunnyside Honda to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, and I would also recommend you see Gloria. It was a joy working with her. More
