I took my 2020 Honda Passport for schedule maintenance. Everything was done right and on time. This car was purchased at this dealership and it is always serviced there. Everything was done right and on time. This car was purchased at this dealership and it is always serviced there. More

Purchased a used (not certified) 2021 Pilot the evening of June 18th. The entire process finalized slightly after normal closing time. I was not provided paperwork and was told it would be emailed to me th of June 18th. The entire process finalized slightly after normal closing time. I was not provided paperwork and was told it would be emailed to me the next day. As I drove home I noticed that though the dealership shinned up some of the interior of the car, they left the car with less than 60 miles of gas in the tank. The next day when I did not receive paperwork I called the finance manager and left a message. When I did not get a response, I called my sales agent the following day and left a message. When I did not get a response, I followed up the next day with a call to the manager of the dealership and left a message. In all messages I stated I needed the paperwork and I mentioned my frustration at being sold a car with no gas. Only my sales agent ever communicated with me. In her messages I understand that the next morning after I purchased the car the dealerships systems went down. They were working on mailing my paperwork as they were unable to send anything. She never responded to my concern about the gas. Eventually, on July 11th I received the remaining paperwork. On July 18 I had a phone conversation with my sales agent who indicated that it is not their policy to provide a full tank of gas. It would have to be part of the deal. She offered that if I drove out to the dealership she could put 1/2 tank in the vehicle. She stressed that because this was not a certified car, there is nothing they can do. They continued to mention what a good deal I got on the car. I reminded them it was a fair deal, but they did not negotiate a penny on the price and got exactly what they wanted for it. Further, mentioning they had just "reduced the price" was ridiculous, because they set the price too high so they could likely say it was 'on sale'. Clearly this is a clear learning experience for me, understanding that not all dealerships believe in reasonable customer service, and you must be VERY mindful before making the deal to negotiate every little thing. To me, this is the behavior that makes purchasing a car such a frustrating and time suck. I will no longer waste my time at dealerships, and will look forward to using online sources like Carvana for any future purchases. More
