Dealership sent me a coupon for an oil change that included 5 qts of “premium full synthetic oil” for $25. I took my car over and waited 20 mins before they came and told me it would cost a little mor included 5 qts of “premium full synthetic oil” for $25. I took my car over and waited 20 mins before they came and told me it would cost a little more ($65!) for my car. If my car needed more than 5 qts of oil I might understand but that wasn’t the case. Instead, they told me my car needed a better full synthetic oil (Mobil 1) than the premium full synthetic offered on their coupon. The coupon ad sent to me referenced the model car their discount was for. It felt like they just didn’t want to honor their coupon so I left without the oil change. More

They were great. We were on vacation and we’re scheduled to leave that day at 11 am and they went above and beyond to make sure it was complete and even do a check for any other issues before we left. I will never purchase a car with Honda of bay county the service was terrible. When on the lot or window shop and maybe test drive. My first experience with Honda of Bay county was amazing so I returned to them when I began having transmission issues. I was going to have to leave my car for a few days so I would need a rental. I was tol so I returned to them when I began having transmission issues. I was going to have to leave my car for a few days so I would need a rental. I was told the rental would be $35/day with their dealer discount. I did not receive this rate since I was paying for the car and the dealership would not approve the charge for it on my invoice. Previously they had set up the rental so I did not call to make the reservation. When I arrived with my van I was told they did not make the reservation and that I would need to call and see if they even had a car for me. We live over an hour away so I waited around town, did a little shopping, and finally had a rental car. The next day I received a call that my car was fixed and it would be $xxx amount. It was just an update to the system that needed to be done and this wasn’t covered under the extended warranty that we purchased. Picked up the vehicle thinking my problem was fixed only to discover 2 days later that my transmission still stutters as certain speeds and it still will Not engage upon sitting for several hours. So now I will have to put it back in for service, rent another car for $100/day, and possibly take time off of work. I will say that Dee in the service department was super helpful and I will contact her again directly when I need to have service done again. She is the reason for the 2 star rating. Otherwise it would be 1 star. More
