2012 Honda Pilot Bluetooth was intermittent. Mechanic Dave tried to resolve using my cell phone. He was unable to duplicate the problem. rather than closing out the trouble as "can't duplicate" he had Dave tried to resolve using my cell phone. He was unable to duplicate the problem. rather than closing out the trouble as "can't duplicate" he had me brought into the shop to question me as to toe problem. I also tried to duplicate the problem but was unable. Dave continued to search his computer for possible issues and updates but found none. I believe this issue will resurface (based on 30 years as a telecommunications tech) but was very happy at the diligent effort made by Dave. More
As always, the staff at Honda North service were very professional and friendly - and performed all requested service very well... My only unfortunate experience was that upon agreeing to have additional work done (brake pads) I was given an estimate of 1 - 1 1/2 extra hours (which was fine). However when I asked again at nearly 2 hours I was told it would be at least another hour - which really was not acceptable... Tim, to his credit, responded quickly and well, arranging a loaner (I by then had to meet certain other engagements) and also providing a discount on the bill (that I had not requested). So I will come back again, but this is unfortunately not the first time I had had this experience of being told one time only to hear it would be a lot longer (it had happened with other service reps, so am not sure this is their problem but rather getting clearer estimates from the mechanics).
