Although our price may be higher than some local mechanics, there are reasons for this. At Honda North, we only use Honda factory parts. This ensures that the parts that we install work with the rest of the vehicle. Some mechanics us generic parts that may not work the way they should in a Honda. In addition to the safety benefits of using Honda Factory parts, both Honda and Honda North provide warranties on their parts. This ensured double the coverage where as another mechanic may not even offer a warranty. I do understand that repairs can be very costly and can be quite a burden but there are more positives than negatives in the long run.
