I purchased a 2021 Honda CR-V three days ago. My salesman, Bob and the financial manager, Bernie were professional, knowledgeable and patient. One issue remains to be resolved. I purchased the car in the afternoon and picked it up that evening. The next day, I noticed scratches etched across the display portion of the dashboard behind the steering wheel. We are from Madison, WI, and we were in the market for a newer Honda Civic. When we called Pauly Honda about their 2017 Civic, Mike Schirmang was happy to negotiate with us over the phone. He recognized th newer Honda Civic. When we called Pauly Honda about their 2017 Civic, Mike Schirmang was happy to negotiate with us over the phone. He recognized that Libertyville was two hours away from our home, and he prioritized our needs right from the start. We drove down to the area, and we visited another dealership first in Gurnee, having a TERRIBLE experience. Then, we went to Pauly Honda, and Mike greeted us with a friendly elbow bump (COVID-friendly protocols were a plus!!). He gave us suggestions on where to take the car on our test drive. The car was beautifully as described with an incredibly clean interior and beautiful exterior. When we returned, he listened authentically to our feedback, and when we asked about an aspect of the car that may have been misrepresented, he apologized immediately, saying that it was an honest mistake and was not purposeful in leading us astray (turns out it was our own interpretation’s fault, and even then, he was so forgiving at OUR mistake). He was not focused on how we were going to pay for the car, and we settled on a great deal. They even stayed AN HOUR past closing time to get us all settled in with our new car, and they were not begrudging about the extra time they spent with us. Because this is our first car, Mike patiently walked us through all the things we needed to know and gave us all the details in writing. Troy, the business manager, was also a delight. All in all, we would drive 2 hours ANY DAY to have the experience with Mike, Troy, and Pauly Honda again. He was so genuine, professional, honest, and upfront about everything. Truly a great experience buying a car!! Go get your car here!! More
