This is my 4th time buying a Honda. Great customer service. Dennis was nice and comfortable to work with. Rich was awesome and answered all our questions. He had all the honda technical specs memorized so we had zero hang ups. Finance was also quick and everything was explained very clearly. Took vehicle in for service for a recall issue which was performed 10months prior 7am 2/27/13. The service manager took a test drive with me in the car and observed the issue which I explained was intermitt performed 10months prior 7am 2/27/13. The service manager took a test drive with me in the car and observed the issue which I explained was intermittent. They ended up not repairing the vehicle because “they could not observe the problem” even though the service manager did observe the problem in the AM. I learned the car sat for over 3 hours after I dropped it off and was told conflicting information in how they attempted to troubleshoot. I only learned of the status by calling 6 hours after I dropped the car off asking for an update. I requested that they replace the part which was previously repaired due to a recall since the problem went away after that work was done. The service manager refused to do that. He assured me the car was safe, however could not diagnose the problem and confirmed that he observed it in the morning. The only thing they offered was to bring the car back “when the problem got worse”. I am very dissatisfied with the service from Honda of Bellevue and do not recommend them. Suggestions to Honda of Bellevue: • If the tech is the person that needed to observe the problem, he should have been the one to take the test drive. • With an intermittent issue as it was described, the vehicle being warm vs. cold can be difficult to duplicate. They should have done this sooner vs. let the car sit for 3 hours. • Use simple process of elimination when troubleshooting. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to hear that the problem existed before the recall, went away for 10 months after the repair and is now back…so come to a reasonable conclusion that the problem is related. • Communication should have been proactive on their part when they were unable to duplicate the problem to see if there were any suggestions to get that done or to at least have a conversation about what they were trying to do to resolve. I bought a 2008 Honda Civic here about a year ago. The car was doing great and I had no problems with it. I came in to find out if I could re-finance my car to get a better interest rate. Karim took me through all of my options and walked me through each one so I could decide wich would be best for me. I decided to go with trading my car in to get a 2012 Honda Civic. They did a great job at listening and meeting my needs. They went out of their way to make sure I got everything I wanted in the car and they stayed within my budget. Each step of the way every person I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. I am extremely happy with my purchase and I recomend the Bellevue Honda dealership to all of my friends. More
I went to check new Honda Accord 2013 EX-L model on Friday evening. Kevin was assigned to us and were told that he will take care. He did show us the car we were looking for but when asked for a quote Friday evening. Kevin was assigned to us and were told that he will take care. He did show us the car we were looking for but when asked for a quote he simply refused and started saying here in United States things work like you get a quote, make an offer and then we tell you if we can sell or not in that price. I was wondering since when and if every dealership starts to do that then how can one know what offer to make. Besides he was very arrogant and we chose to leave the place without any further humiliation. The next day, I went to Honda of Kirkland and another bad customer service incident. The next day I went to Klein Honda in Everett and bought the car. At Klein Honda, people are respectful and friendly. After making my purchase on Sunday, I got a call on Monday from Mr. Kevin asking me about if I was interested in the car. I told him to keep that for his dealership. Again same advise as for Honda of Kirkland - Run far, run fast from this dealership More

Important to note as well is that the team on the show floor makes me feel very welcome, I was not rushed or felt pressured in anyway when I showed up at the store, which is surprisingly refreshing for me as a customer. We bought our previous car from Kevin in 2004 and wanted to look at the SUVs as well as the Accord to replace this Honda. He was very informative and let us set the pace for our decision making. We were able to come to a satisfied agreement to purchase the 2013 Honda Accord at the price we wanted and was able to trade in our Civic for an equally agreeable price. The business/documentation signing phase lasted longer than our selection phase but that is the nature of the business. We will be back in 2014 or 2015 for another vehicle to replace my truck. More
I was looking for a Honda Civic hybrid for my 19 year old daughter as her first car. I found an ad on Craigslist for the car we wanted and the price was spot-on with Edmunds.com retail value so I went to see daughter as her first car. I was impressed with how clean the car was and I am sure they must have washed it before I arrived. Rich Leavitt was most helpful and got us a second key($150)included in the deal. Since this was a used car with 105,000 miles, it needed a little work, also it had been in an accident. Jared examined the car for me and deemed it intact and the service record seemed honest, mentioning that the radiator support had been replaced. They did all the necessary work the car needed including replacing a leaking water pump before they put it up for sale. I made a deposit that day but needed to return with my daughter to sign the paperwork and pick up the car. The financing was a little rough because when we arrived, the paperwork was not ready and the bank was not open to approve our loan. My daughter was SO disappointed we wouldn't be able to take the car home with us as planned. Especially since it was her birthday! Unfortunately, the financing specialist did not apologize for the error nor did she appear to care and seemed to blame me when it was, in fact, her error. That is the only reason I rated my overall experience a 4, vs a 5. For the customer service I gave a 5 because of Rich. Anyway, we finished signing the loan papers and Rich talked the manager into letting us take the car that night, even before the loan was approved! He really went the extra mile for us. I would highly recommend you ask for him if you use this dealer. More
