As we live in east Tennessee, I initially contacted them via email for a “lowest price” quote My experience with Holman Motors. Where to begin? As we live in east Tennessee, I initially contacted them via email for a “lowest price” quote on a travel trailer. Based on the attractive price quoted for the unit we were interested in, we made the 4-hour drive to Batavia to have a look in person. We’re in our 60’s and have encountered our share of pushy sales folk over the years, so we weren’t sure what to expect. I’m sure all of the Holman sales people are competent professionals, but we had the good fortune to deal with Eddie Holman. What a delight! Eddie understood what we were looking for and put us aboard a golf cart, drove us out (among their 30+ acres of RV’s) to the area where the unit we were interested in was parked and let us out. He said, “The one you’re looking at is right down there, as well as some similar units. They’re all open. Feel free to look all you like. Here’s my card with my cell number. Give me a call if you have any questions or would like a ride back to the building.” Boy did he read us right! Talk about low pressure! We were able to look at our leisure and converse without a salesman hovering over us. The best possible RV shopping experience! When we did get around to talking the deal, we liked the fact that there wasn’t a lot of throwing numbers back and forth. Their best price is their best price. Take it or leave it. A lot of folks, like us, take it! Holman knows their prices are the best out there, so they don’t have to play games! Even in this sluggish economy, where a lot of RV dealers have folded, these folks are selling a LOT of units. But I digress. This isn’t about their prices. It’s about their people and our purchasing experience. Eddie explained that when they sell a unit, they include the 30A cord, the battery, waste tank deodorizer, fresh water hose, long-lighter for the grill, propane tanks full…. The list goes on. In short, everything we would need to depart their lot and go camping! We agreed on the price and were shepherded in to see Ron, in finance. He arranged for our financing at a most attractive rate and walked us through the process painlessly. We were about to leave on a month-long boat trip, so we made arrangements to pick the camper up in about 6 weeks. We were soon contacted by Chris Ware, in Service, who said “Just let me know when you’d like it ready”. When our plans firmed up, we called Chris and made an appointment for our walk-through. We arrived at the designated time and Chris introduced us to Tom, who gave us a thorough tour of our new camper and answered all our questions. Holman allowed us to stay on premises in our camper for the next three nights (others have stayed longer, we’re told), plugged in and secure. This gave us time to really get to know our camper and address the inevitable issues one encounters with a new unit. In our case, we didn’t have too much: A minor cable connection issue on the TV, a shower head that didn’t have enough flow when on and too much when off. Everything else worked great and these two minor issues were quickly and cheerfully addressed. Holman’s service tech (Nate) installed our customer-provided weight-distributing hitch and explained how to connect/disconnect it. All of the service techs we encountered were great! Our sales professional, Eddie, followed up on us throughout this entire process, even after we were officially in the hands of the Service Department. Eddie made sure we were being well cared for. Just in case they hadn’t done enough already, when sales professional Nate Borowitz found out that we hoped to leave on a Sunday morning when the facility is normally locked up, he offered to stop by on his own time to open the gate and let us out. And we weren’t even his customer! After our experience with Holman so far, we were pleased, of course, but not surprised. Should we find ourselves in the market again in the future, I would absolutely make the drive to deal with these folks! We couldn’t be more pleased! More

This is our second camper from Holman's. They had our camper ready to go camping, so we went straight to the campground and camped! Our salesman Nate was great!
