Holman Honda of Ft. Lauderdale - Service Center

Disappointed I was very disappointed this past visit. I had made an appointment on Thursday online for Friday at 2:40 PM. Once I arrived a service person was chat I was very disappointed this past visit. I had made an appointment on Thursday online for Friday at 2:40 PM. Once I arrived a service person was chatting with another outside under the intake area. Nobody inside, to his credit, the gentleman broke off his conversation, went back in search of Mark Green. He came back, saying he would be right out. After (21) minutes cooling my heels, Mark arrived. He was not informed him he had a client waiting, so he finished his normal lunch hour. After he took care of current papers, he turned to me, saying that he was unable to find any appointment made online. This did not surprise me, same thing has happened in the past, so I have brought a printed copy to prove I had an appointment, not just making something up. Unfortunately, I didn't print this one out. Mark said it would be an hour to an hour and a half. I was only looking for an express oil change, so I said, I didn't think so, a half hour had passed since I arrived. Fast forward to yesterday, after phoning in for an appointment, was told Mark Green had gone home on an urgent family matter. So Annie would take care of me, had a 9:40 AM appointment. The express oil change took close to (2) hours, and I was presented with a bill of $80.03 for an oil change. In all my years, have never paid so much for a single oil change with filter? I paid it, with no comment. But, I assure you it was on my mind, the rest of the day/night, woke up with Holman Honda on my mind, first thing. The exorbitant price for an oil change, which is all I wanted, the rest of the complimentary items should have been just that. If this is the new norm; $80 oil changes, I'm afraid I can no longer afford a Honda automobile. This makes me very sad, because I had every intention of purchasing a Honda CRV or Accord (touring model). Perhaps not right away, but I have done considerable research, and think either vehicle would be a perfect fit for me and my friends/family. I was given an estimated $125 for a brake fluid change, on my next visit, although I believe Annie would have been happy if I had done it yesterday. I have to tell you, I haven't ever been this upset with any dealership. Granted I purchased the car at Rick Case, but if you look in the records, most all the service has been done right there at Holman Honda, and I have paid for every service, with a few warranty items covered by Honda. More

Air conditioner hose corroded and needed replacing Drove to Fort Lauderdale Florida in late October. Realized A/C did not work. Yuck!! Took it to Holman Honda and they had it fixed in a day and even Drove to Fort Lauderdale Florida in late October. Realized A/C did not work. Yuck!! Took it to Holman Honda and they had it fixed in a day and even gave me a small discount which helped with the exchange rate. They took a video of the inspection and were in constant contact with me via email. Very professional service and they took the diagnostic fee off of the work when completed. More

Excellent service as alway I was attended to rapidly by Jeree, my car was taken in because I had a dead battery in the morning. After inspecting my car they found the battery defective and replaced it at no charge. While my car was being inspected I went home and was picked up by Honda's shuttle service. Very convenient and I didn't lose work time. More
