Yikes! Always a shock when I come in for a simple oil change and I have to get 4 new tires and a fix for an oil leak with total cost just under $3,000 on a c Always a shock when I come in for a simple oil change and I have to get 4 new tires and a fix for an oil leak with total cost just under $3,000 on a car that has 30,000 miles and was just out of warranty. Because I believe in prevention, I have to trust that these were necessary and had to be done right away to prevent any further damage to my car and weren't necessary or visible last year while the car was still under warranty. Still, a very bitter pill to swallow. Also, shouldn't an alignment be part of the cost of buying 4 new tires? Just asking. And while I appreciated having the use of a car while the problem was being fixed, I was given a car with almost no gas in it. More
