Sold me a lemon and that broke down after a week I bought a 2004 Honda Civic from Kuni and two weeks after the purchase date the alternator and battery failed. When I went to Kuni to see if they woul I bought a 2004 Honda Civic from Kuni and two weeks after the purchase date the alternator and battery failed. When I went to Kuni to see if they would cover the alternator I was rudely told that all sales were final. I would have expected a dealership with such a high rating to have covered the cost. if the car had not been bought for another two weeks it would not have sold. Do not buy from Kuni Honda they are all show and no substance. Selling cars that break down after two weeks is bad business regardless of guarentees. My hope is that this review inspires someone to shop somewhere else as Kuni Honda does not deserve the business they get. Let me just say that anybody who sells anything that breaks after two weeks should be obligated to cover the cost. Kuni did not even look at the battery or test the alternator. There is no amount of paperwork that can change a dishonest sale. Let me finish by saying none of this was the fault of Andrew MacMillan who sold me the car. He was polite courteous and clearly works very hard to achieve customer satisfaction. More
Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!!! Think of every stereotype of a car salesman...and I experienced that at every OTHER dealership. Then go to Kuni Honda and work with Ray Truong. Honest, respectful, informative, non aggressive, and the list of adjectives can go on and on. Ray and his team were so good, I didn't even bother to haggle when they laid down the offer sheet. Ray was engaging, kept the genuine conversation going, and made the entire process seamless. The finance specialist that we were then turned over to (apologize but I cannot remember his name but I think it was Jesse) was just as engaging. By the end of the process I felt like I knew his family, kids and interests. Mind you, I am an executive for a Customer Service company so I know when people are giving me lip service and when the conversation is genuine. I never doubted from the start that Kuni Honda expects every member of their team to make the customer experience easy and fun. As you drive down Arapahoe and see all the dealerships...save yourself time and headaches. Pull into Kuni Honda. Find Ray, he'll find your car, the team will find the best deal and you'll leave a committed HONDA LIFER. Thank you so much Ray and Team!!! More

We were hesitant to go to a dealer based on previous experiences but were greatly relieved when we found the experience to be any thing but the high pressure experiences that we had experienced or that dealers are typically know for. Experience was great and there was no pressure. The people there were very easy to work with. We were helped by Zack Townsend and would recommend working with him to any one looking for a new/used vehicle. He was extremely knowledgeable and was very patient as we looked at many vehicles over several weeks. When looking for our next vehicle we will definitely be returning to Kuni. More

I have not bought a new car in 9 years (mainly because my 2006 Honda Pilot just kept running and running..haha!) so as you can imagine alot has changed! Lauren was patient with us, helping us out thru the entire process. It was obvious that she really knew her stuff! I am a seasoned Realtor(23 yrs) and I usually don't do well at car dealerships..heard every "close" in the book! But I never got that pressured feeling from Lauren..she was professional, informative and very sincere. This was by far the easiest transaction I've ever experienced with a car dealership. Thanks Lauren!! You go Girl! More

Lauren Hayes was our sales person and was able to show us what we were looking for. Lauren was really helpful with our two little ones during the process. A day at the dealership is not fun for a 5 & 7 year old. During the finance process Lauren kept them entertained so we could focus on the task at hand. I would visit Kuni Honda again. More
Read Your Paperwork Carefully My experience with Kuni Honda was not a good one. I call myself a very informed experienced car buyer. Before heading to the dealer I read articles, n My experience with Kuni Honda was not a good one. I call myself a very informed experienced car buyer. Before heading to the dealer I read articles, negotiation tips and information I need to know about the dealer. Buyers beware, read your paper work carefully! The flaw starts with the negotiation process for my trade in. After multiple back and forth, they come up the value which I thought fair. They asked me to sign for that amount, I told them to modify few things then I’ll sign the document. They made the changes I asked, so I signed the document. After agreeing to buy a new car and signing the documents, I noticed that the trade in value is changed. I asked them to correct, but they said “here is the paper you signed earlier”. I noticed that on the second offer paper which I told them to modify, the trade in value is changed. After a long tiring day (if you are planning to negotiate, prepare to be there for long hours, not sure, may be this is a strategy to worn you out), the financial guy presented the paper works with a monthly payment, the amount was higher than expected. I asked why the monthly payment is higher, and the financial guy said “I qualify for the Honda warranty plan”, and started to explain. He said the warranty amount is $2400.00 for seven years or 100,000 mile, and the difference is only $16 on monthly payment. I agreed to take the warranty plan, and signed the paper work without reading in detail (remember at that point I was very tired). The next day while reviewing the PDF version of paper work I signed, I saw that $899 added on the top of the $2400 warranty I signed for. The agreement states that I can’t cancel the warranty. Arghh. So here is my advice if you are visiting Kuni Honda: Take your time to review the paper work again and again Do NOT discuss monthly payment, just discuss the car price Do not sign a reviewed paper without verifying the changes Do not be threaten by the sales person scare tactics, remember there are a bunch of car dealers across the street.
