My wife found a car we were interested in online. This particular vehicle had a complete service history with Kuni Honda, it was even originally purchased from Kuni Honda. With the type of vehicle we were looking for, the low mileage and complete service history, I called Kuni Honda and was connected to Pat Fogarty. I asked if the vehicle was still available, it was. Pat immediately gave me his cell phone number and arranged to have the vehicle pulled to the front of the building to be available as soon as I arrived. After a test drive with Rick Christensen, I was allowed to take the vehicle home for my wife to check it out. After deciding to buy the vehicle, Pat Fogarty arranged a way for me to purchase the vehicle. The paperwork was quick and easy. I was amazed at the number of people coming in the doors. It's a very busy place, and this was on a Friday afternoon! Friendly Sales staff. I actually enjoyed the process, and I hate buying a car. More
I marked ok for overall experience because the whole buying process is way too lengthy. Almost 3 hours for the paperwork process and I did not have a trade in or a loan application. It has been like that at other dealers too but it makes car buying very unpleasant. Also frustrated that picking up my vehicle got delayed. I bought the vehicle on a Tuesday and hoped to get it on Friday. But a bit of needed painting got delayed until the following Tuesday. The weather was given as the reason for the delay. Do all body shops rely on good weather for painting? Because I live an hour and 1/2 away, and it is difficult to coordinate schedules with my spouse to drive me there, it was an extra hassle to deal with. They did offer to let me bring the vehicle back on another day for the painting but I would have had to spend 6-8 hours hanging out in Denver. Maybe none of this is Kuni's fault but it has made me re think about buying a car out of my local area since this was my first time going to a Denver area dealer. More
From the first inqiries on the vehicle of interest all the way through walking out the door with the new to us cehcle was an excellent experience. We were at the dealership with our 18 month son as well and everyone was very accommodating. Great customer service! We needed warranty work the part was going to be unavailable for more than a week. Stacey worked with us and was able to get Honda to cover our rental. Parts came in earlier than pla was going to be unavailable for more than a week. Stacey worked with us and was able to get Honda to cover our rental. This is a follow up to a previous review I posted about a service I had done at Kuni. Shortly after posting my initial review, I was immediately contacted by a guest relations manager named Rena Marson. Wo service I had done at Kuni. Shortly after posting my initial review, I was immediately contacted by a guest relations manager named Rena Marson. Wow, I was quite impressed by her willingness to "earn my trust back" with Kuni. She was more than accommodating by listening to my frustrations about my visit. She relayed my concerns to an assistant service manager named Joe who explained to me the difference in pricing and went even further by offering me a credit towards a future service visit and also agreed to match the price for a recommended service that will need to be done. These efforts given by both of these professionals was more than I had expected and will definitely impact my future decisions of returning to Kuni. Thanks Rena and Joe! More
We came to look at some cars, my wife and I had agreed not to buy anything that day. Our salesman seemed friendly, until we said we wanted to think about it, and look around a bit. Then we were hugely pressured for about an hour: everything from you have to buy today or the universe will end, to trying to make us feel guilty for wasting his time, to implying we were lying about our buying plans, to refusing to give us some information until we agreed to start the financing process. Everything but someone locking the door so we couldn't get out. The worst thing was that he flat out lied about a feature not being standard on the base model (which the dealer did not have available); we have confirmed that it it standard on the base model on Honda's web site and at other dealers. We will never set foot in this dealership again. Don't want to say which salesperson this was, since maybe he was just having a bad day or something, and he's gotten other good reviews on this site, I just want to inform the dealer that they're losing customers over their sales style, and warn potential buyers to watch their wallets. I was shopping for a new car. Met George Lee at 9:30, checked available inventory, spent some time looking for alternatives, test drove the car and was back in the office by 10:30. George brought me printout with their deal which was pretty much MSRP plus DH and tax. Prior to going to this dealer I did fair amount of research and have decided on the max price that I would pay for the car. I have mentioned that to George and made my offer which he accepted and by noon I was driving back home in a new car. The whole process was smooth and coordination between various employees was very efficient. More
