Dismal Manager Performance We purchased our Element at Kuni Honda on Arapahoe new in 2005. We only used Kuni's service department for all maintenance & repairs for the past 11 years! As such we expected a high level of fairness and treatment by dealership employees. After our simple oil change turned into a lengthy oil gasket change out we left the car accepting the use of a Kuni loaner car while they completed work on our car. Late the same afternoon we received a call saying the work was completed, however it was to late for us to make it back to pick up our car. The following morning around 9 am my wife paid $860 to pick up our car. Upon arriving home our car reeked with the odor of burnt oil and the car was filthy. I called the Kuni Honda dealership asking to speak to the dealership manager; I was told only an operations manager was available but he didn't pick up the phone so I was forced to leave a message. In my message I explained I was calling with a complaint and it was inconvenient to be forced to leave messages just to play phone tag. While I was working later that morning I was disturbed by a call from a restricted number. I almost didn't answer the call because once working it's hard for me to refocus once disturbed. Thinking it was a business call from Washington D.C. because of the restricted number I answered the call. As it turned out it was Kuni Honda's operation manager calling me back on a restricted number from the dealership. I attempted to explain to this not so gentleman our frustration with our car smelling of burnt oil and car being filthy. I asked why the car wasn't washed and some of the oil cleaned up that would've prevented the burnt oil smell. He went on to tell me that the car wasn't washed because it was to cold out and the burnt smell results when oil spills. With as much patience as I could muster I attempted to explain to this "Manager" that customers who continue coming back over 11 years and who just spend $860 should be listened to and in most respectable businesses returning customers are always right; or should at least be treated that way. I couldn't complete my thought or finish with my complaint when this not so "Gentleman" went OFF hollering and telling me he didn't appreciate me leaving............. That's when I hung up the phone because I didn't pay to hear a manager raising his voice to me; I paid for a service I didn't receive. I immediately called the dealership manager, Brian, leaving him a message asking him to return my call upon his return. I have yet to receive a call back from the dealership manager. I had a simple concern; I wanted to discuss my concern with a dealership manager who should have been trained to handle simple complaints diplomatically. Unfortunately, this operations manager called yelling, bullying me and telling me what he didn't like. Sorry Mr. Manager, but I'm the customer and as long as I the customer don't yell or use profanity I'm permitted to be dissatisfied and voice my dissatisfaction or at least I should have been permitted too. I vote with my hard earned US dollars and there are many other auto repair facilities and Honda dealerships that would like me to spend my money with them. I will be calling Honda USA customer service @ 1-800-999-1009 to follow up with my complaint about you and your apparent lack of customer service training. I would like to share with the owner of Kuni Honda dealership I was very dissatisfied with your operations manager; dissatisfied with your dealership manager who couldn't be bothered to call me back and attempt to salvage our business relationship. I look forward to hearing what Honda USA will have to say to me. It can't be worse than how I've already been treated. More
Excellent experience This is our second time working with Kuni Honda, and both Jerry Johnson and Richi Carni went above and beyond well exceeding our expectations. Conside This is our second time working with Kuni Honda, and both Jerry Johnson and Richi Carni went above and beyond well exceeding our expectations. Considering our budget constraints, at one point we almost gave up, but thanks to Jerry, Richi and of course the underwriters at the bank, the deal went through. Thanks!!! More
Worst experience Me and my friend came there to buy two civics. George Lee was the sales person. After we agreed to buy them and the price offered was approved by Bren Me and my friend came there to buy two civics. George Lee was the sales person. After we agreed to buy them and the price offered was approved by Brent McMillan, the sales manager, we choose the color. But then we were informed by the finance director, Richie Carni that they cannot give the price that was offered previously by the sales people. They said they did not inform their sales people that Honda just increased the interest rate from .99% to 2.99%. What the heck. George then came back told us they can still give 0% but have to increase the price by about 1200. WORST EXPERIENCE with Kuni Honda!!! We left and bought two Corollas from Mountain States Toyota on the same day. More
Friendly Efficient Service We can not say enough about Kuni Honda and their team from start to finish! By far the best car buying experience we have ever had. Friendly, efficien We can not say enough about Kuni Honda and their team from start to finish! By far the best car buying experience we have ever had. Friendly, efficient, and painless. Matt Harwood never pushed us one direction or the other and allowed us to take the lead as to what car we wished to look at and test drive. Richie Carni was amazing! He found us an amazing loan/rate and kept what was best for us in mind during the process. We will not hesitate to recommend Kuni to friends and family and will be a repeat costumer. More
Recent experience of canceling warranty: Rich and Jessee Having physical disability, I had unpleasant experience with two particular employees at Kuni Honda: Jesse Gonzeles and Rich Carni. Jesse the sales pe Having physical disability, I had unpleasant experience with two particular employees at Kuni Honda: Jesse Gonzeles and Rich Carni. Jesse the sales person was very deceptive and tricky to sell me the car and sold me a third party warranty service. After he sold me the car, he forgot to ask my bank statement, so he called me and asked me for a copy of a bank statement. Within five minutes, I got it and emailed him the scanned bank statement. But, when I needed his help and left him several messages and emails, he did not respond. I was disappointed and had to go to the dealer to talked to him. I ended up waiting for 20 minutes and took me a long time to be there on my wheelchair. Rich the finance person has not been very helpful to cancel the third party warranty service and keeps changing his words. After buying the car, I decided to cancel the warranty service, and my contract does state that I could within sixty days. I told him to cancel the warranty service. He told me that the bank will send me the revised payment. However, I did not hear anything from the bank, so I asked Rich about the cancelation. At first, he told me that he sent a check to the bank, but on another day he said that he canceled the service. On the other day, as I was talking to him, when I asked him when I would receive the check from the warranty company, he told me that he had no clue and hung up the phone, because it was a third part company. I left him several messages, but he did not return my calls either. So, I had to go to the dealership on my wheelchair. I ended up waiting for 20 minutes. Overall, I felt like all they want to do is to make extra money by selling you a third party warranty that gives them extra incentives. If they cannot hold of the third party company, how do they expect their customers to get hold of the company? I do not appreciate their work ethics and the way they treat people. Sure, maybe I had to be more careful. I was a fool. I still need to be refunded from the third part warranty company and am still waiting for Rich to forward me the evidence of canceling the warranty. I hope Rich or someone from the dealer read this review and fix the problem. Then, maybe, they can earn their respect. More

It was exactly what I wanted, so I filled out the credit pre-application and made an appointment for 10 the next day. I asked if I could reserve it for a test drive; the sales person said I couldn't reserve it but that he would definitely keep me updated on the car until we met. We drove 1.5 hours from Boulder, through rush hour traffic, and got there early. THEN they told me that it had been sold the previous night and tried to sell me something else. I was furious because I had taken the day off work. Do NOT go to Kuni Honda; I wish I had thoroughly read all these reviews before wasting an entire morning. Who knows if they even ever had it. I wouldn't be surprised if they just advertise a great deal to get people in the door and then try to sell them something else. Luckily, I was able to find the car I wanted at Markley Motors in Fort Collins (a GREAT dealership, by the way). I will forever tell people that Kuni Honda sucks and is a place to be avoided. UPDATE: Wondering about the whole bait and switch thing someone else mentioned, I just chatted with a Kuni rep online and was told that the car (which they previously had said was sold last night) was available! It is still posted on their website. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS! THEY CARE NOTHING ABOUT YOU. More

He showed the car not only to me but a separate visit for my wife as well. He pulled comparative information in regards to the Accord and prices for similar used cars in the area. The follow-up from Kurt was timely. He called me the morning of April 16th when we had that huge storm and wanted to know if we couldn't reschedule in lieu of the terrible weather. He was concerned for my safety and well-being. The day we finally made our decision on a used vehicle I also received support from Zlatko Popov another product specialist. He was extremely helpful and supportive in making this decision as well. It was a seamless experience working with him as we sat down to finalize the details on my vehicle. More
Nice and easy. Kurt and George were easy to deal with. Not a lot of hand shaken, just good service. Very concerned with our happiness, in the purchase process. Kurt and George were easy to deal with. We fell in love with the vehicle during the test drive, and were happy with the price negotiation process. A week or so after the purchase, we discovered an electrical problem. Kuni took care of the issue 100% and even provided us with a rental car in the process. We enjoyed everyone that we met at Kuni and wont hesitate to be future costumers. More

After the servicing I found the wheel rims were not properly placed, the interior roof top was broken. I had registered a complaint but still there is no response from their side. More
