Disastrous handling of a safety recall. I received a Honda safety recall letter January 2024, booked the service with Kuni/Holman Honda Service center February 14, 2024. Morning of servic I received a Honda safety recall letter January 2024, booked the service with Kuni/Holman Honda Service center February 14, 2024. Morning of service date, service department called to notify parts were out of stock. Parts were ordered and I would get a call back end of March to reschedule. No call back. I followed up on March 25 and was told an “advisor” would call me back within 2-3 days with an update. No call back. I followed up on April 1, 2024 and was told by Jordan per his supervisor that the safety recall was a “miscommunication from Honda” and a new letter of clarification would be sent out from Honda explaining the situation. I called Schomp Honda of Highlands Ranch and they were able to complete the safety recall in half a day. Clearly Kuni/Holman Honda service does not want to perform any Honda Safety Recalls so I would recommend taking your Honda to Schomp for any and all servicing. More

I've owned Hondas for a good 30+ years. This service department has keep my cars running like new! They don't push to find something wrong; very trustworthy. We went in on a Thurs & test drove the car I wanted but it was the wrong color. A dealer trade was done to get the color I wanted, and that was appreciated. The car was at the dealership on Thur evening, On Friday we were told the car would be ready on Sat morning and we arranged a pick up of 10 am, with the understanding we had to be out of there by 12 as we had a birthday party to attend for our son. We showed up on Sat WITH financing. We were told they had to still do a credit check, we said no, we have financing. Turns out we were correct, no credit check was needed. After an hour of waiting, the salesman AND the financing guy were STILL tried to get us to use Honda financing. At 11:30 we told the salesman that we were leaving in 30 minutes either with the new car or he could put our plates back on the vehicle we were trading in but we were leaving in 30 minutes! We FINALLY got to see the financing guy at 11:40. We finally left there at 12:05, we were finishing the paperwork or we would have left. Something that should have taken 30 - 45 minutes took 2 hours and I truly believe that if we had not said we were leaving at 12, it would have taken longer. We were the FIRST people that day to leave with a new car & were the first people IN the financing guy's office, it was next to where we were waiting for 2 hours!!! Respect MY time!! More
