We looked at a lot of cars and asked a lot of questions. She took extra time to explain features and showed us how everything worked. We ended up with a beautiful car. We love Honda cars. But, over the years, we have been to a couple of other dealerships and were not impressed. Everyone made me feel appreciated and spent as much time answering my questions as needed. I have always thought excellent customer service is what makes a business thrive. They have excellent customer service. My salesperson was Kelly Witzel and couldn’t be better. Anytime I have questions, he is more than helpful. He checks in with me often to make sure any questions I have are answered. Zach Townsend has been my tech guy and so helpful. I’m so grateful for his knowledge and willingness to help me. Kellan Deyo is my service advisor and more than competent to handle any issues that may arise. And very honest. I feel like they all have tried to get to know me more personally than I would have expected and that is a huge thing to me. My car is only a month old but I look forward to long positive relationships with this Honda family. More

High pressure sale, 30% added costs from quoted price. Kuni Honda jacked up the add-ons to our agreed price! DO NOT BUY HERE!! They are not forthcoming about the 30% added costs! Our agreed upon price was Kuni Honda jacked up the add-ons to our agreed price! DO NOT BUY HERE!! They are not forthcoming about the 30% added costs! Our agreed upon price was $13,495. I am paying $19,271.88 plus interest. I wonder how they jacked up the price by 30%! Saleswoman, Deidre and Finance officer Jesse W. sat down with me and for at least 30 minutes reassured me that with their price of $13,603, I could put down $3,000, then do a balloon payment of $9,000 my first month, leaving me with "just over a year's worth" of car payments. They also told me how much better it would be if I financed it through them rather than through my bank. BS! I put the $3,000 down, and then I STILL had $16,271.88 to pay! 16,271.88 minus (my first month's balloon payment of) $9,000=$7,271.88, still due. I am a teacher, and have a limited salary, so I have really been taken advantage of. I tried calling Kuni Honda afterwards, to reach financier Jesse W. I left three messages, including one that was hand-delivered. He NEVER returned my calls. That confirmed to me that they took advantage of me. An added feature that I bought but did NOT tabulate in the 30% markup was a warranty for $1295. But the rest??? How do they justify "delivery and handling" for $495 when I picked the car up? I never asked for a new windshield. Why did they add on $774 for that? What are the $27.20 fees for? Why did they charge me for insurance? I have my own insurance!Why are all these tacked on AFTER the price was established?! Bottom line: I would NOT have bought this car for this much! They were not forthcoming with me. I feel deceived! To add insult to injury, since the "new car deodorizer" has worn off, the car smells of old cigarettes. You'd think for that kind of a markup, they could have done a thorough cleaning. Aside from that, I think the car itself is good, so far. Time will tell. I just would not have bought it had I known the true bottom line. I wish I had bought my car at Markley Honda. They were straight with me. More
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM KUNI We had a terrible experience! I emailed the general manager (Brian Nicholson) a detailed account of our transaction. He just “passed me on” to the general sales manager (Larry Shriver). The sales manager said he wanted to talk to me however he was never available during our mutually agreed upon days/times. I would send follow up emails trying to coordinate another time to talk but eventually he stopped responding. This explains a lot, the staff follows managements example. In a nutshell, as I don’t think my detailed account will fit in this space...the sales person (Scott King) didn’t disclose that Honda was offering 1.9% financing, he didn’t show us the car features after the purchase as he wanted to catch a basketball game, and he never sent the instructional videos he said he would. The sales manager (Jesse Gonzales) had to manipulate the numbers 5 times to the already agreed upon price. The finance person (Ralph Berfante) interrupted us, talked over us and insulted our personal vehicle. Ralph was disrespectful and discourteous. He was clearly perturbed we didn’t buy any extended warranties/packages from him. Additionally he completely forgot to collect the down payment check and tried to blame us for his oversight. This is why dealerships have bad reputations and why they are described using derogatory adjectives. We regret purchasing a car from Kuni. More
