I went to Kuni Honda with my mother to purchase a vehicle. We have bought 2 cars in the past from Kuni Honda, so we were expecting quality service with non-pushy staff, like usual. Since then I guess the management has changed. It is absolutely terrible now and would not recommend anybody going there to purchase a vehicle. We met with Emilio to speak about a 2020 CRV. At first he seemed okay, non-attentive, but decent. We sat down and talked about the type of car we wanted. We were very specific about the color and type of car. He eventually found one and brought it around. We sat in it and decided it was the right car. Usually this is where we start discussing price and going over options. Well we were already pre-approved by Kuni Honda so that wasn't an issue. But it took over 40 minutes to finally get a price of the car. That is when we found out that the "clearance" deal was only $3,000.00 off and then they added on some "additional" services that we didn't ask for (car tinting, special mats, and wheel locks) which totaled $1,600.00. So really all you were getting off the MSRP price was $1,400.00. Now you could have literally got the same deal off Carvana or any other online service. It didn't make sense. So we declined. Emilio then went over to his manager, who offered to knock of $600.00 and then when we said that we would like to go shop around, they got really angry. First off, the manager didn't have a mask that covered his nose. He threw down the paper and then walked off. So we asked for a card in case we don't find a better deal, and Emilio literally refused to give us the card. It is so sad that in this day in age, when you can buy a car online and not have to deal with any salespeople, that we would be treated so poorly. I would suggest you head to Mile High Honda and ask for George. You will get much better service. More
Finance: Unresponsive to multiple voice messages. I didn't have any direct contact with General Manager, Larry, however he seems to back his employees whether they are right or wrong. I sincerely wish I had spent my $50,000 elsewhere. I came to this dealership from another local dealership that had a terrible time answering their phones. After calling several times, I gave up and looked elsewhere. Gabe is newer, but just as friendly, helpful, attentive, etc. I had to use the collision center recently and that experience was great as well! Jarod was timely and kept me posted on the progress of my vehicle repairs. Roman helped me purchase my most recent Honda and he too has been amazing. Attentive, friendly, professional, and super helpful! I love you guys, thanks for treating me like royalty every time I visit! His expertise was incredible and his energy is unmatched! So cool, calm and collective. This man didn't flinch at anything I threw at him. He took everything in stride and always had a positive attitude. Like I mentioned earlier, his energy was amazing. This buying situation was different from any I have experienced in the past as I was shopping for a vehicle for my son, whom is out of state. This made the process a bit challenging at times, given our unique situation. Jerry was consistent the entire process. His communication was was key during this transaction. Giving this deal the attention it needed no matter if he was working or off. He dealt with me (not an easy task) and gave me nothing but respect and, once again, great energy. Through all the wheeling and dealing, he kept his word! I can attest that this man has INTEGRITY! It's not very often that you can say that about people, yet alone salespeople! Let's be real, Honda's sell themselves, so it wasn't so much about the car as it was the experience and the accommodations that Jerry and Kuni provided for my son. I highly recommend Mr. Jerry Johnson for the ultimate Honda or Car Buying Experience! I already gave him my word that I'm coming his way for round 2 (4 with Kuni)!! Thank you Mr. Johnson!! More

That is 5 times the amount it costs to recharge any other car ac system in any other car than a Honda. This is a scam produced by Honda to take more money from you after the sale. I specifically asked whether I might expect any additional charges (color coating, tinted windows, etc.). The person said no, the price that I see online is what I will pay. Sounded all good until I visited the store. I was told that this was the only model that they had in store with that particular color and that I would have to pay around $3,000 extra for the special features. Seriously? I did what any person should do, namely walked right out of the store. That was the last time I visited Kuni Honda. If you want an honest deal during these difficult times, skip this dealership. More
