I had just recently purchased a used Cadillac from Hunter McMillan and took the car on a trip to Utah. While in Utah I noticed that my car was making a funny whining noise and took it to a Cadillac dealer i McMillan and took the car on a trip to Utah. While in Utah I noticed that my car was making a funny whining noise and took it to a Cadillac dealer in Provo, Utah (Harmon's Auto Center). I was informed that the problem with my car was that the hub and bearings on the right front tire were shot and I needed a new hub and bearings and the cost would be $500. It was a Saturday morning and I called back to Holm to see if the dealership would still honor the limited warranty on the car even though it was about a month past the time period that I had agreed to in my contract. Matt Holm called me back right away and agreed that the problem should not have occurred and that they would honor the limited warranty and pay for 50% of the expenses. The dealership paid Harmon's over the phone and I did not have to worry about the expense. Matt was very friendly and bent over backward to make sure I was being treated fairly and that I could get back on the road again. I have purchased 3-4 vehicles from this dealership in the past and have always received good service and representation. I will likely purchase all of my vehicles from this time on from Holm after my recent experience. More
The service dept has always been very friendly and helpful especially Chuck Loader. If I call and ask about a problem I am having with my vehicle he will always have me bring the vehicle in and have s helpful especially Chuck Loader. I have had nothing but great service from Holm Automotive in Abilene, Kansas Service rep Jamie Ayers is the best. He is always willing to go above and beyond to help with a problem. The mechanics at Holm Chevolet always do their best job and your vehicle is never covered with grease when they are done. Any new vehicle purchase in my future will be from Holm Automotive, because of their great service department. Anytime I have had a vehicle problem, Holm Chevolet always does their best to fix the problem in a timely manner, or provide a loaner car until the work is done. More
Everytime I call Jamie to have service work done on one of my vehicles, there is no hesitation to them getting on it right away. I live 22 miles from the dealership and Jamie does everything in a top notc of my vehicles, there is no hesitation to them getting on it right away. I have been to several different dealerships in my life time but Holm Automotive beats them all hands down for the great service they provide. I am very pleased with the way I have been treated here. I am not a big fan of Chevy, but this is my company truck. We live about 1 and 1/2 hours away from Abilene. When we call to make an appointment Jamie in Service is always very accomodating with making appointments and getting us in when it is convenient for us. Jeff Holm and Holm Automotive Center are very accomodating when servicing my vehicle. Jeff takes care of getting my car to the service department as well as giving me a vehicle to drive while mi accomodating when servicing my vehicle. Jeff takes care of getting my car to the service department as well as giving me a vehicle to drive while mine is being serviced (I live approximately 50-60 miles away from the dealership, but near Jeff Holm). The last service I had done I had the oil changed, but also had them fix a couple of minor problems. My car was scheduled right away and I had my car back in the same day. They did have to order some parts but, again, Jeff took the car for me and had both problems fixed in the next visit. The service could not be any better as far as I'm concerned. They are always very friendly and very compentent in fixing any problems I have had. More
Nita and I have purchased or leased seven vehicles (5 Cadillac's and 2 trucks) from Holm's since 2000. The staff has always been friendly and helpful during that time. We have also recommended them to many of our family and friends both for buying or servicing their cars. The staff in Sales, Parts, Body Repair and the Office are exceptionally qualified at their jobs as well as friendly. Even the staff we have not worked with directly call us by our first names and greet us each time we go to the dealership. We appreciate them so much that Nita takes them homemade goodies for the staff to enjoy as a small token of our respect and appreciation for the great work they do. On one occasion, we were taking a family member back to Colorado with her infant child. We discovered that the seat belt being used for the infant was not functioning properly. We called the Service Department and told them the problem. We,of course, were on a schedule and needed to get in, have the repair made and get out as quicly as possible. When Jamie and Chuck saw that the seat belt repair would take longer than we could allow,they immediately put us into a comparable car, filled it with gas and sent us on our way, while the repair was made. Upon our return, the problem had been solved. On another occasion, I was driving home from work and hit a skunk. The smell was horrific. I called the Service Department the next day and Jamie said bring it in right away. Within a short period of time the car was returned. It smelled like a new car. Well...... the next week my wife hit a skunk on the way home to work with our other car. The same patient voice answered the call and took care of the same problem with the same expediency. We all had a good laugh and wondered what were the chances of that ever happening again. Fortunately, it has not! These are two of the many wonderful experiences we have had. Eric has been amazing at finding the cars we wanted to purchase and lease, no matter how far he has to go to search for them. Eric, Pat, Tim and Chris make it possible for us to get the best financial deal. Brad in Parts and B.J. in the Body Shop, Pam and Darwin in the office are outstanding. We really appreciate the family atmosphere at Holm's, but also appreciate the competent staff, who it seems can do most anything with vehicles for their customers. We highly recommend the dealership to all our friends and have many, who have had similar positive experiences. Tim's motto for the dealership, is "Come to Holm Automotive... you'll be glad you did". He certainly is right. We ARE glad we did! More
