We called Chris earlier in the week to tell him we were ready to trade. A couple of days later he had the ideal car for us - in our price range, great condition and clean! I found Holm automotive while I was searching for a 2013 Ram 2500 across the internet from my home in Long Island NY . What attracted me at first was there no nonsense pricing . Than I began to read all t Ram 2500 across the internet from my home in Long Island NY . What attracted me at first was there no nonsense pricing . Than I began to read all the great reviews about this dealership. So i decided to call and ask about the truck , David Surritte (sales consultant ) handled my call .. He answered all my questions with informative answers . Being from NY and knowing a "pinkie finger" NY car sales man approach I can assure you that this dealership is the complete opposite . There is no B.S. talking . Only straight to the point professional approach taken by David and the rest of the crew at Holm Auto . So while I was on the phone with David he asked me if I would like to come in for a test drive of the truck .. I laughed and said that isn't possible until maybe a week from now .. He replied with a confused "why" lol. I began to tell David I was calling from NY and needed to make flight arrangements . He got very excited and wanted to help me even more , He said that he will arrange for an airport pick up for me and my wife . Than he got me in touch with the finance pro Pat Magee . after 24 hrs Pat got me approved at an awesome interest rate . So at this point I was ready to book my flight but not before David Surritte recommended to me that it would be better for all of us that I fly into Wichita instead of Kansas city . 11/2 hr. ride compared to 3 hr ride to dealership . So with that I booked my flight for my wife and I . It was Feb.28th 2014 . Dave called me the next day to get my flight info so he can have someone pick us up at the airport . . We land in Witchita Kansas at 10:30 am and were greeted by Delmer an 82 yr old sweetheart of a man . Delmer made our ride that was an hour and half feel a lot shorter .. Great conversation and laughs all the way to dealership . When we pulled up David greeted us and took our luggage inside .. I started to look over the 2013 ram 2500 . And as advertised and said to me by David the truck was spotless , mileage was correct . and there was no signs of rust , dents or anything else to discourage me from wanting this truck. At this point David turned to me and said " You ready for that test drive now " I started laughing and we jumped in and took her for a spin .. Once we were back at the dealership . Pat Magee answered all of our finance questions and had us fill out and sign everything in a timely fashion . There was no up selling or trying to get us to spend more money on something else . No hidden charges like transaction fees , delivery fees or really any other type of fee except there $149 dealer fee . And what really was the icing on the cake was one of the owners Tim Holm came into the office and introduced himself to my wife and I . Also gave us great tips on where we can stop and eat on the way back to NY .. ( In Kansas city). The whole entire process was exciting, fun and pleasurable for my wife and I . I want to thank all of you at Holm Auto of giving Myself and Athena a great experience and a warm caring environment. This is how car buying should be !!! I highly recommend this dealership to people living in a fast pace type of place like NY . Get away from the crooks and thieves and go see the crew at Holm Auto .. Honesty & Integrity go a long way in my book . By the way the ride home was great .The truck drives great and I look forward when the wife is ready for a new car because Holm is where I will be . I was driving from kansas to oklahoma, trying to get home before a huge snow storm blew in. I am from Texas and do not do well with the cold, so to say I was freaking out is a bit of an understatement. I was before a huge snow storm blew in. I am from Texas and do not do well with the cold, so to say I was freaking out is a bit of an understatement. I was driving on the highway and though I saw smoke from my car and smelled a burning smell, but me being me, I kept driving. Someone on the road next to me waved me down and said there was something wrong with my car and I should stop now, before I try to get to Salina. Thank goodness for this sweet man because I probably would have kept driving until I exploded. I went down the road to a chevy dealership, even though I have a jeep. I figured they could figure it out and get me on my way before the snow came. I took it in, I felt silly because I know 0% about cars and all I could tell them was the obvious, "something is wrong with my car and it smells bad." They told be to grab my school work and set me up at a table inside. I guess i need to do some homework anyways. People were coming and going and I was waiting to hear news about my car. Chuck came inside and told me I wasn't going anywhere. I immediately started to tear up, he said it was going to need a lot of work and parts, all I was thing was $$$. I remember that I had an extended warranty, only after talking to my dad on the phone, Chuck got on the phone with the warranty company and haggled with them for a while before they agreed to send a new front axel to Abilene, Kansas (still not sure where that even is, LOL). Chuck came and told the the good news, which was still bad news since I was stranded and a storm was coming. Chuck figured everything out for me and fought for me, he got me a rental and sent me on my way home to Norman, before the snow. I paid 0 money that day and got home safe and sound! I do not know what I would have done if it were for Holm Automotive, especially Chuck. He literally saved me that day. He always called to check in with me everyday that they had my car, even to say they were calling on the part to see where it was. The best part is, when my car was done, (which was very fast) they had someone meet me half way to exchange the rental for my car! I am so pleased and thankful for Chuck and his team! I even sent them a valentines card! LOVE THEM! More
