Fraud I purchased a Pre-Owned vehicle from Hollywood Kia, in March. The vehicle was purchased ‘As Is’ with NO implied warranty. However, when speaking with I purchased a Pre-Owned vehicle from Hollywood Kia, in March. The vehicle was purchased ‘As Is’ with NO implied warranty. However, when speaking with the sales representative, I asked specifically about the history of the vehicle (previous owners, accidents, etc). The sales rep. continually referenced the dealer provided ‘CarFax’ and ‘AutoCheck’ reports when verifying that the vehicle had not been involved in any accidents or salvage. The dealer provided reports did NOT list any accidents. Ten days later, the vehicle suffered a major mechanical failure while on a road trip. Within an hour of having the vehicle towed to a local dealership, I was informed that the vehicle had been in a major frontal collision, and due to substandard repair work, the entire motor became dislodged from the vehicle. I believe that the dealership was fully aware of the fact that the vehicle had been in a major accident and purposefully committed fraud by not disclosing the information. My belief is based on 1) when I asked, the dealership stated that their Service Department performs a 150 point inspection on all of their Pre-Owned vehicles before they offer them for sale, and 2) I politely advised the dealership of my situation and discovery and they ignored my calls and messages. More

Purchase Experience From the moment we walk in, we were greeted by nice people and friendly smiles. Then Gianni approached us, and the rest is history. He went beyond his duty to make us feel comfortable, even though we made him run like crazy in 90* heat. Once we made our choice of used car, the whole process went fast and smooth, and Gianni did not miss a beat. He had the papers coming and going very smooth, and the signing process fast and efficient. The only bad thing i have to say is, when you are closing already the deal, they should have some refreshments offered to you since you spend many hours there. They have vending machines for the people that come and go, but if you are signing for thousands of dollars, some catering would be nice. But let me say that this do not reflect anything negative on the people and service provided. I would definatly recommend this dealer and Gianni Ladaga to anybody. Henry. More
