A refreshing experience and a wonderful new car. I am no stranger to dealerships or the buying experience. My new Genesis is the 36th car I have acquired over the last 27 years so I think I can tell I am no stranger to dealerships or the buying experience. My new Genesis is the 36th car I have acquired over the last 27 years so I think I can tell the good from the bad. Most people will tell you that they HATE shopping for a new car, and with good reason. From pushy salespeople that do not know the product, hidden charges, or dealer markups to make you feel like you are getting a deal when they take it off, I have seen it all. I had decided to trade my vehicle and hoped to lease something new mainly to reduce my payment , but also to move into something different than my SUV. We visited a few dealerships and it was not looking good. Honestly, a few of them really annoyed me with the behavior I saw. On a whim, I emailed Shayna at Holler Hyundai based on some reviews I had read. Shayna had actually moved into management but quickly answered all of my questions (and I had a lot!) and presented a range of options. Reluctantly, based on the experiences from earlier in the week at other dealers, we decided to give them a shot and drove to the dealership and met Pattie. She showed us several options, took us on multiple drives, and did a great job of explaining the features in the different vehicles and trim packages. I really never thought I would consider a Hyundai but the 2015 Genesis caught my wife and I completely by surprise. Finding and liking the vehicle is one thing, negotiating the deal is another. Holler did not try to hide anything and continued to look for ways to save me money and offset the negative numbers in the trade. Because of this, they were able to save me money every month, which is what I had hoped for in the first place. If my Genesis performs as I expect it to over the lease, and we experience the same level of customer interaction in service as we did in the sales and finance part of the transaction, Holler Hyundai may just have a customer for life. More
