Roger III, Chris and Jill Holler Rogers, Vice-Presidents of our automotive group are the great-grandchildren of the fabled Bill Holler. He founded the General Motors Dealers' Son School established to prepare dealers' offspring to inherit the family franchise and his son, grandson and great-grandchildren were all graduates. From 1929 when General Motors Chairman, C.S. Mott, hired Bill to be Vice President of GM and General Sales Manager of Chevrolet until his retirement in 1945, Bill Holler earned a distinguished reputation as a tireless listener to the dealer, implementing trend-setting innovations and establishing programs to teach the fundamentals of auto sales and quality service still in use today. A believer that a good sales person is critical to our economy, Bill elevated the standards of our profession. It appears this software glitch has cost us something much more important than a sale -- it cost us your trust in our company. We've worked very hard for many decades to earn and protect our reputation -- while at the same time delivering quality vehicles at competitive prices. Your email immediately set off a chain of events that was taken seriously at the highest level of our company. A glitch in software can be an issue anywhere on our website. But a glitch on our calculator has never happened before. (And if we have anything to say about it, will never happen again.) Regardless of where you purchase your next vehicle, we'd like to give you a free oil change and a discount of $100 off your next vehicle service. Words can't express our dismay at this issue, but perhaps our actions can speak louder than words. Our reputation is our greatest asset, and we apologize that something outside of our control created even the smallest doubt in our integrity. We have been assured that the glitch was for the Veloster only and has been corrected and that no other customer was impacted. Please call our service manager Mike Laing to make your appointment. We'd like you to experience who we truly are -- and our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Here is an excerpt of the communication we received from the lease/finance calculator vendor: ...That's been corrected. My apologies on that. It was our error with incentives. ..... as it was clearly an issue on our side. I've done a review of all other incentives and confirmed that this was the only model code missing. I'm going to open a case to see how this one made it through our system. Again, sorry for the error.
