Carlos was great it’s not his fault, the system is flawed and my calls were never relayed to him. I went to pick up my car once the parts came and as I drove it away it was making a noise so I turned right around. Had to wait again. They hadn’t even test drove it before having me come to pick it up…. Turned out because it sat for so long it developed rust on the rotors. They said the rust “fell off”. So yeah, not sure what future problems this will hold with that rust. More
When I came to the dealership I was waiting by all the advisor stations for about 10 minutes before someone came over to ask me if I was being helped. I did not know who my advisor was. Then Ha Nguyen advisor stations for about 10 minutes before someone came over to ask me if I was being helped. I did not know who my advisor was. Then Ha Nguyen told me to pull my car around from the front of the dealership. He told me there were recalls that had to be done: airbag and driver's door lock and because I did not have much time I asked if I could come back to have it done. Yet my paperwork says I requested it! I told him I would come back for the recalls 3 times and 3 times he told me no problem. I could tell he was not listening. He was rushed and stressed. But they went ahead and did this which made my wait longer and I explained to him I had a family member that just passed the night before. I watched everyone come and go as they complained why it was taking so long for their car when finally I spoke up myself. I arrived at the dealership 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment and left approx. 3 hours later. I never spoke to anyone that worked on my car in the bay only Mr. Nguyen. I would have liked to talk to the mechanic one on one maybe even had the mechanic takes pictures. I was in price shock when Mr. Nguyen told me it would be $4,614.00 dollars to repair my car! And the kicker was he told me since the car was a 2008 (in great condition with low mileage) I should just trade it in and buy a new car. Is this how the dealership works - give a high price to repair the Honda you have and then told to buy a new one so the dealership has customers and can move the cars?? And everything on my paperwork that I left with said I declined everything from alignment to brake fluid and when I told this to Mr. Nguyen he said that's how it comes out of the computer. I think not. Before I left I asked if my fluids for the windshield wipers were checked and Mr. Nguyen turned to me and laughed and said if I had any with me he would help me fill it up. So that made me realize that Honda does not do any complimentary services like that. Didn't even fill up my brake fluid when that was part of the problem. I would have paid for the bottle of brake fluid. I saw on my paperwork that everything had a price attached to it. I know I bought smart, but I'm not happy. To also mention that some of my parts to be replaced would not be Honda parts. So why should I pay dealer prices if I know a great mechanic that can do the work replacing non Honda parts? Maybe your mechanics might rate better but my customer service advisor didn't have the Honda touch. More
