My mother had a flat tire and we brought it here to be fixed After my mother had her tire replaced she had another issue. She was told it would cost another $200. in addition to the $175 she had paid for the tire. The car is a year and 1/2 with 13,000 miles on it and it is a lease. In the past my mother has told me that she has had to pay for things but I never got involved. I couldn't imagine what she would have to pay for with a new car that is new, leased and under a warranty. Last week she mentioned she had to make another appt. for the flat tire episode and that is when I got involved....Now I realize that I will have to handle my mother's service needs until the end of this lease. I asked why a sensor wouldn't be covered by the warranty and they told me because my mother broke it.....A sensor that tells you when the pressure in your tire is low. She had told the staff at Toyota that the low tire pressure didn't appear until the tire was completely flat. My sensors let me know when the tire pressure has changed slightly even when it is caused by a change in air temperature. The sensor couldn't possibly be bad, my mother broke it.....Really????? I will be sure to warn others about the service team at Hoffman's Toyota dealership in Avon. More

As in any dealership there were lots of recommendations to repair other things other than what it came in for but they weren't high pressure about it and got the job done. You pay a premium to have it done at the dealer as well but they did a good job and quickly with good communications so I gave them 4 stars. More
