Lack of communication and false promises. I ordered a car in late December and put down a deposit. I was promised by the sales manager that the car would be delivered by February 4th or that I ordered a car in late December and put down a deposit. I was promised by the sales manager that the car would be delivered by February 4th or that they would find one from another dealer. I ended up not needing the car for another 2 weeks, and again was promised it would arrive by mid-February. As we approached that date, I had to reach out to the dealer to ask if the car was still on schedule to arrive. During that time, a new sales manager replaced the one I had been working with. He told me that no, the vehicle would not be there in time and that he could not tell me when it would arrive. I told him I needed the car by the end of February. Again, as the date approached, I had to reach out. Again I was told that no, the vehicle would not be there on time and that they had no idea when the car would arrive. I was then told the vehicle would arrive between March 6-10. Low and behold, March 10th, no car. Hoffman finally provided a loaner after realizing how incredulous I was about the situation. The vehicle finally arrived. the following week, about 11 weeks after we put our initial deposit down. Overall, the lack of communication by the dealership, the absence of information, and the broken promises made this a horrible experience. How is it that I'm to know the exact date and time the socks I ordered will arrive, but they have no idea where a $30K vehicle is? More

Great service I had a bitter experience in purchasing 2016 Pilot from Hoffman Honda. The dealer was rude and collapsed my happiness and my purchasing experience. He I had a bitter experience in purchasing 2016 Pilot from Hoffman Honda. The dealer was rude and collapsed my happiness and my purchasing experience. He didn't even say bye after purchasing a big SUV. He finalized the price for the vehicle as $39,167.00 and when I went there to pick up the vehicle with my wife and two kids on November 23 he added more than $1200.00. He also said if I refused to buy the car, he won't give back my advance payment $3,500.00 which I paid three weeks before 11/23/16. So, I was little hesitant to bring my car for first service, but the people from service department were courteous and treated a customer as it should be. Ms. Jenatta especially helped to fix the problem in my rear entertainment. I will bring my car again for my future service even though I live away from Simsbury. Thanks again for the service department people. More

Most recently my car needed service, and some parts replaced. The Hoffman staff not only followed up, but provided me with a loaner vehicle while they diagnosed and fixed the problem. This was huge as I am a working mom with 3 small children. The Hoffman staff also facilitated everything with Honda, as far as having the work covered. More
