Just an oil change and tire rotation, but This was supposed to be a basic appointment for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I have gone here many times in the past with good results. My This was supposed to be a basic appointment for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I have gone here many times in the past with good results. My only previous minor criticism would have been that sometimes the wait-time is longer than projected. However, this most recent service experience left me concerned as to the quality of the service department's organization and skill level. 1. I called ahead to make an appointment to save time. The service person encouraged me to do this so that I would be done in less than an hour. When I got there, I was told that even with my appointment, the wait would be over an hour. The wait ended up being over an hour and half. This was disappointing. 2. More concerning and alarming, was that when my car was finished being serviced, I began to drive out of the service garage and heard an alarming sound coming from my rear tires. How would the technician not have heard this same sound? Turns out that the technician never tightened the lug nuts on my rear tire. My rear tire was wobbling off center and was not securely attached. I am alarmed that such a basic safety check after rotating tires was not performed. The manager even claimed that the tire would have 'most definitely' fallen off if I made it to the main road. To apologize, they offered me a free future oil change, which was nice and considerate, but did not make up for my frustrations. Also, one of the caps on the lug nut apparently fell off or broke off, and when I pointed it out, no offer was made to replace the lug nut. I was simply told, "Oh, that happens sometimes." This left me even more disappointed in their level of care and consideration. 3. My actual service associate, Alyssa, was very nice and apologetic. She was training a new employee and things seemed a bit hectic and unorganized throughout the service center, but she seemed to be doing her best in the situation. I do not fault her at all for this situation. It seemed as though she was a victim of the unorganized chaos just as much as I was. Again, I have had several good experiences here in the past, but this was an alarming visit. The quality of work and the overall feeling of organization and order were very subpar. More

I had an elecrical issue with my mini van Over the past couple years I've experienced electrical issues with my van. Started with the sliding doors not closing or stopping halfway. More and mo Over the past couple years I've experienced electrical issues with my van. Started with the sliding doors not closing or stopping halfway. More and more odd things started happening. We had to pull the DRL fuse because they just came on randomly. I called the dealer I purchased the van at and they didn't seem to think they could help. I also had a local mechanic look at it and they were not able to find a problem. Last week I went to start it and it was completly dead. Something was draining the battery. We made an appointment with Hoffman because we bought another Honda there last year. They determined the problem immediately. Water was in the fuse box and it was rusted which no doubt caused all the crazy things that had been happening. They replaced the fuse box and found the source of the water leak and repaired it. I am thrilled that after 2 years, the sliding doors I was not able to close unless the vehicle was in drive, are now working. I will definately return for any further issues. More

I have been bringing my Civic Hybrid to Hoffman for servicing since I bought it there, 15 years ago. It still drives like a new car, 233,000 miles later. More
